Sydney Hay announces in CD 1

A conservative enters race

Republican Sydney Hay, a known entity and respected leader in Arizona politics, announces her bid for the Congressional District 1 seat. Rep. Rick Renzi is not seeking re-election. Hay previously ran for this post in 2002.

She has most recently managed California Congressman and presidential candidate, Duncan Hunter’s Arizona campaign.

    Sydney Hay is an outstanding candidate to fill the District 1 opening. No scandal here. She has the whole package and would make an excellent Congresswoman. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a Congresswoman whose ego allowed her to listen to you and not talk over you? That would be a nice change. Her intellect, experience, integrity, and competence are sorely needed in Washington.
