U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords exchanged wedding vows Saturday evening with NASA astronaut Mark E. Kelly in a ceremony at a southern Arizona organic farm.
Robert B. Reich, former secretary of labor during the Clinton administration, delivered one of the blessings during the ceremony. With over 350 well-wishers in attendance, wonder who else was on that guest list?

I wonder how Roberta McCain would describe this ceremony? Would the religion of Liberalism at the Church of Ecology get her nod? Since she doesn’t seem to like Mormons, maybe this would have greater appeal to her. I especially like the Reich blessing. Nice touch!

Representative Gabrielle Kelly (Giffords) will become an absentee representative for the citizens of CD 8. Her husband and stepdaughters will continue to live in Texas where Mrs. Kelly will spend a great deal of her time when not in DC.She should consider resigning from office since she will most likely be a defacto resident of Texas.

This marriage is more new age blather. Regardless of the talk about “quality time,” committed families actually live together and interact on a daily basis.
