Border Patrol agents have now detained more than 1,000 persons of middle-eastern origin on the southern border attempting to enter the country illegally since 2003. For all the progress that the American soldier has made in keeping terror at bay overseas it does us precious little good if middle-eastern terrorists are able to transgress our border with impunity thanks to McCain/Kennedy/Napollitano, etal.
Dr. Juan Hernandez’s presence, advice, and influence on John McCain and his campaign as shown by McCain’s daughter’s blog demonstrates just how out of touch the Senator still is.
It confirms that the arrogant * *, who voted against the Bush tax cuts, restricted our freedom of speech with his anti-first-amendment legislation “McCain-Feingold”, sought to undermine the justices being nominated by President George W. Bush, and served up the McCain/Kennedy/Flake Comprehensive Immigration Bill just last year with arrogance and stiffed-neck hostility towards the American people, is a candidate who does not truly understand National Security and does not deserve the support of patriotic Americans.

According to the Boston Globe, in November 2005 Romney spoke “approvingly of efforts by McCain and Bush to
solve the nation’s immigration crisis, calling them ‘reasonable
proposals.’” In the November 2005 interview, “Romney described immigration proposals by McCain and others as ‘quite different’ from amnesty, because they required illegal immigrants to register with the government, work for years, pay taxes, not take public benefits, and pay a fine before applying for citizenship. ‘That’s very different than amnesty, where you literally say, ‘OK, everybody here gets to stay,” Romney said in the interview. ‘It’s saying you could work your way into becoming a legal resident of the
country by working here without taking benefits and then applying and then paying a fine.’” [Boston Globe, 3/16/07]
According to an article in the Lowell Sun titled “Romney Supports A “Path to Citizenship,” Opposes “RoundingUp” Undocumented Workers,”:
“Gov. Mitt Romney expressed support yesterday for an immigration program that places large numbers of illegal residents on the path toward citizenship… ‘I don’t believe in rounding up 11 million
people and forcing them at gunpoint from our country,’ Romney said.
‘[T]hose that are here paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship, as they would from their home country.’” [Lowell Sun, 3/30/06]

See if you don’t agree that much of the story line in the classic movie…. The Manchurian Candidate (1962 film) - Wikipedia,… reminds you of the candidacy of Senor McCain. Frank Sinatra, Angela Landsbury, Janet Leigh, & Lawrence Harvey are the stars in this first class flick. Touted war hero turns out to be a plant to destroy the Republican Party and his country in the process. How much closer to the truth can you get?

KW Vet:
The “Manchurian Candidate” is John McCain–and vice versa. You are one smart guy to have made that connection. Very good!
I am truly tired of him continually touting his heroism. His service was honorable and his imprisonment despicable. However, others served and some returned home far more seriously injured or in a flag draped box. Most returning soldiers began their lives anew without still making book on the events of 40 years ago. Our former county attorney lost both legs in combat in that war. I read only one article about that terrible event. We have a neighbor who served, and lost an arm and eye (among other serious injuries) in Da Nang.
