Señor McCain: Putting Mexico first

If you read nothing else today, make this important article the exception

National Review’s Kirk Krikorian has written a masterful piece titled: Mexico First?  McCain has embraced a Vicente Fox’s aide as his own.

A video link is included showing a Florida voter questioning Señor McCain on his hiring of Juan Hernandez as his Hispanic outreach director, and McCain’s exquisite and practiced soft shoe as he attempts to sidestep the issue.

This is the same Hernandez who has said, “It’s not two countries, it’s just a region.”

Watch the revealing O’Reilly segment shown here on Hot Air where Michelle Malkin interviewed Hernandez.

Yet this explosive story has generated no traction from the liberal mainstream press, who have anointed McCain as their tolerable Republican—because he really isn’t a Republican at all..

The Krikorian article is stunning. I’ve sent a link to several friends and family members. McCain is a truly frightening man. What could he be thinking of in bringing a true open borders guy like Juan Hernandez on staff except the Hispanic vote at the expense of American citizens.

    This is an amazing read.

I also watched the video with Michelle Malkin interviewing Hernandez while subbing for O’Reilly on the Hot Air link provided here . She took no prisoners with her decisive questions. He’s as slippery as McCain, but no match for her.

This site did a real service providing these links, Thank you.

Krikorian’s article points out that McCain’s “very close” friend, Hillary Clinton, has Raul Yzaguirre, also a supporter of amnesty and mass immigration, as her Hispanic outreach director. Yzaguirre was president of the National Council of La Raza (‘The Race’) a dangerous racist, anti white American and anti-Semitic group. They promote Reconquista or taking back the American southwest.

Why does any candidate need an “outreach director’ to any specific ethnic group since we are all Americans?

  3. Richard Grayson Says:

Romney lost Florida because he picked up only 15% of the Hispanic vote.

  4. Maggie Says:

    Grayson:
Excuse me. My mistake. I thought those people participating in the Florida primary were running for President of the United States of America. I was confused, thinking Mexico and Cuba both had their own national leaders.
    Foolish me.

    Richard,

We are going to have this point – counterpoint regularly, it seems. McCain did NOT win last night. Charlie Crist and Mel Martinez won. Exit polls clearly established that. A minimum of three to one of the undecideds went to Juan due to Crist’s endorsement.

As to the Hispanic vote, it is mainly Cuban American in the Republican Party and Sen. Martinez is the whole equation for most of them. His endorsement turned their vote to a 4-1 vote for McCain in that community yesterday, and that certainly was not the split prior to Saturday’s endorsement.

Romney still won the conservative vote by fifteen points in the face of that fact. That is encouraging as we look to next Tuesday and beyond. I do not believe that there is any other state where suc h endorsements can make such a difference in the vote.

    Excellent answer to Grayson, Maggie!
