Judge Wake’s Employer Sanctions decision merits praise

Michelle Malkin’s excellent post, Open-borders outrage alert: Judges are voting on the side of local immigration enforcement, mentions Arizona’s own Federal District Judge, Neil Wake, and his recent decision that flies in the face of open borders advocates.

Would the “true conservative,” John McCain, (according to pro-illegal immigration President Bush’s assessment) nominate judges of this caliber?  Doubtful.

Double doubtful.

Malkin’s always so good. The judge makes me proud. This is a true man of integrity.

McCain’s already said he didn’t care for Justice Samuel Alito. That should make all conservatives warm toward him since he will make the “right type of judicial selections.” He’d never appoint a federal judge of the caliber of Neil Wake. He’d probably put his open borders, amnesty proponent seatmate, Jon Kyl, on the Supreme Court–although Kyl at 66 is getting a little long in the tooth to have a reasonable tenure.

McCain is liberal, past his prime, ill-tempered and arrogant. I’m a lifelong Republican, but he’s not getting my vote. I’d rather the damage was done by someone with a “D” after their name.
