Betrayal at the border

Bush wants to secure borders—Mexico’s not ours

President Bush is actually pushing a massive foreign-aid package to Mexico to help them secure their southern border against the flow of illegal aliens from Central America. The $1.4 billion stimulus/national security package is an affront to American citizens, dealing with the blatant invasion of foreign nationals on our own soil.

Read Michelle Malkin’s stunning report which contains a Rush Limbaugh audio and check out the provisions of The Merida Initiative .

Mexico is “very protective of its sovereignty” says Shannon O’Neil, Council on Foreign Relation’s Mexico expert. Yet, we are called racists or worse if we value our own sovereignty and rule of law.

President Felipe Calderon, like his processors, knows all too well that the remittances sent back to Mexico by illegal laborers residing in the United States, have become a reliable buttress of the Mexican economy, second only to petroleum as the nation’s top revenue producer.

No wonder the rankings of President Bush and congress are at historic lows

And our choices in November are equally appalling. Republicans have the Architect of Amnesty, John McCain, heading our ticket. He now says, he wants to secure the borders first. Translate that to: Prior to reintroducing his so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform and ‘guest’ worker programs which caused such an uproar that congressionl phone and fax lines were shut down last year by fruiously protesting Americans.

  1. Ajo Joe Says:

I’ve finally had to apologize to a neighbor and admit that George W. Bush has been a disaster. He is clearly more concerned about Mexico than he is with the United States of America. I was duped. My only consolation is that I wasn’t alone.

  2. Jesse Says:

We have been sold out by George Bush. It’s a damn shame. Like Ajo, I was duped.
Believe me, I won’t make that mistake again with McCain.

  3. Security Mom Says:

Did you all know that green cards (Bush/McCain/Kennedy plan) allow for an indefinite stay, as well as allowing over 200 relatives to join the green cardee? Not my idea of a ‘guest’! People from over 60 countries are taking “cuts” through our southern border. “…..Bush, I hardly knew ‘ye!”

  4. Fooled Twice Says:

Bush has played us all for chumps. He’s a globalist, just like his Paw.

  5. Clark Says:

The nerve of both Calderon and Bush! Bush should be protecting the citizens of this nation and let Calderon concern himself with ridding Mexico of corruption and making his country habitable for Mexicans. They have no need to secure their southern border since all of those Central Americans are merely passing through–on their way to the good old US of A.

  6. Maggie Says:

I am so angry at George Bush! We are fighting a war on terror against fanatical, militant, Islamic extremists who have declared war upon our entire western culture. The economy is in the toilet, and good buddy Bush is supporting Mexico to the tune of a $1.4 billion of American tax dollars!
He is gifting rebate checks to citizens and non-citizens alike.

I voted for this fool and regret it every day. He will be as responsible for a Republican loss of the White House as John McAmnesty will ultimately be.

No wonder people are out there yelling for “Change!” I understand their ire. The difference is I would have liked to have had a conservative republican occupying the Oval Office.

Bush has been a tremendous disappointment.

  7. Macbeth Says:

Ditto, Maggie. You said it very well–unfortunately.
We are assured a gigantic loss with McCain heading the ticket. I’ve decided to place my energies, money and vote in the congressional and state legislative races. The Republican party is on life support and the fools are continuing to give credibility to an angry old open borders liberal who pretends to be a Republican. Now, he is so desperate for Republican votes, he is even claiming the conservative mantle. The problem for McCain, is that too many see him for what he is. he won in the states with open primaries where democrats could vote across party lines for the least credible Republican. Couple that with the registered Independents, and you’ve got a loser heading our ticket.

  8. STEVE NUTTER Says:

Is it any wonder why there is an element of citizens refusing to pay income taxes when morons like GW want to give it crooks like Caldron.Who the hell is making responsible decisions in Washington?

  9. R Munyan Says:

Some people put all this on Bush and I am not saying some of it it his.But every one needs to look at the demO rats to please can someone tell me why the people voted for 3 open Border morons .As for me I say none of the 3 is worth the power that would blow them to hell. And please do not think that the Democrats are going to be any better at correcting this unjust burden on the American taxpayer. That was proved too me when all the top Democrats running for president had nerve to say they believe that all Americans need to learn another language. You have to look at it this way we have three people running for president 2 of them are out and out socialist the third candidate is a old man who don’t know what he wants to do. Now isn’t that enough to scare the living hell out of you. It is still hard for me to believe that the people in this country are so bad off or so illiterate that they would pick these people to be The potential president of this country. So sad.
