Steve May run
Another old name for a new race
Congressman John Shadegg’s announcement that he will not seek reelection to his District 3 congressional seat, is bringing out wannabees in droves.
The latest to throw his chapeau into the ring is former state legislator and gay rights activist, Republican Steve May.

Yep. Same-sex “marriage” would have another advocate nationally.

Lots of speculation about who else is jumping into this race. I suspect AZ House Speaker Jim Weiers and State Treasurer Dean Martin will both stay put. Term-limited Corporation Commissioner, Jeff Hatch-Miller, must be kicking himself for his opportunistic, but too late move into what is becoming a very crowded field in CD 5. He should have taken heed of Horace Greeley‘s popularized wisdom: “Go West, young man.” Hatch-Miller would have been a player in District 3. What we don’t need is a one-note Steve.

Swell!!! That’s the last thing we need as a party right now… Just say “no” to Steve May…
