Can’t say this saddens me. Hatch-Miller appears to be a good man, but he entered an already crowded field too late. I realize the lateness was by necessity, but the result was the same.

Hatch-Miller has past legislative experience and his corporation commissioner service gives him wider name ID, but in the scheme of things he is not known to the average voter. And with so many in that race, fundraising is going to be tighter than ever. There is only so far a pot of gold stretches, particularly in a tight economy.
