Valley temperature to plummet 20 degrees this weekend
Temperatures are expected to plunge by more than 20 degrees between Friday and Sunday, due to a hazardous weather advisory the National Weather Service is calling a “massive cold” low pressure system.
In Phoenix and outlying parts of the Valley, Sunday’s highs could barely reach the 60s. Phoenix’s official high is predicted to be 61—just three degrees above the lowest maximum for that date.
