A day after a verbal sparring match between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Phoenix Mayor ‘Sanctuary City’ Phil Gordon, Sheriff Joe Arpaio deployed 200 members of his civilian posse and deputies to an east Phoenix neighborhood where day laborers congregate.
Arpaio said the effort came as a result of business operators complaining to his office about laborers loitering, littering and committing petty thefts in an area near 36th Street and Thomas Road.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio continues to do the job Arizona citizens elected him to do.

Thank heavens we have a sheriff that “gets it.” Lives are saved when word gets around “back home” that sneaking into the U. S. just isn’t worth it. At least one less body will be found dead in the desert this year because of the reputation of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. More dead bodies will be found in the desert this year because they know the Phoenix mayor and chicanos por la causa are over here just waiting to coddle them. Come on Mark, McCain “gets it now”. He said he would have Janet certify that the borders were secure before giving us a new amnesty plan. What else do you expect? And Kyl said there were “only 12 million illegals”…..no big deal. You have got to learn to relax Mark. There is nothing to be concerned about.

The 12 million figure has been in use for years. Best estimates from reliable institutions such as Heritage Foundation and Numbers USA are usually given at 25 + million.
The problem is, our senators and congressmen think we are illiterates—that is, until they want us to pony up some big bucks for their campaigns. My new barometer for donations to ANY candidate will be if the politico talks and acts in accordance with securing our nation’s borders. Border security IS national security. I am tired of having my family left vulnerable while these bozos placate a succession of Mexican presidents.

Phil Gordon should move to Mexico. He is so enamored with the illegals, he should immerse himself among them–where their status is not in question. I don’t imagine he gets too up close and personal with them in his high dollar neighborhood and expensive digs.

Sheriff Arpaio and his deputies took their first important step towards restoring law and order to the 36th and Thomas business district when they arrested the six illegal aliens during routine traffic stops on October 15. Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and the Phoenix Police Department had essentially abandoned the citizen taxpayers and business owners of the district, organized as the “36th & Thomas Business Coalition.” Phoenix Police, at the direction of Gordon and others, refused to enforce solicitation, trespass, loitering, littering and public health ordinance violations by dozens of illegal alien “day laborers” congregating in the district.
