Bad Time for Green Schemes
Higher taxes to fight global warming would create political and economic disaster.
Phil Kerpen, policy director for Americans for Prosperity, writing for National Review, points out that the Lieberman-Warner bill would cost over $600 billion per year—or $2,000 a year for every man, woman, and child in this country. Also, it would achieve no discernable impact on global climate change.

Phil Kerpen is a smart man, I read all of his columns and this one was good… Americans are being fooled over all this “green” talk…

It’s all in Michael Crichton’s “State of Fear,” and Bjorn Lomborg’s “The Skeptical Environmentalist.” Global warming penalties are the “affirmative action” of globalist economic development.
