Wouldn’t it be swell to see these foolish “Hate Crimes” laws used in this instance?
Any crime of violence is a hate crime. We never needed special laws to pertain to only certain protected groups. This is a premier example of liberalism at its finest.

A Mormon missionary can certainly be the victim of hatred and criminal activity. But I agree with you, Joe, about the foolishmess of having such special status for certain victims. Your statement about all crimes of violence being hate crimes is one I’m going to borrow. It says it all. Too often the hate crime catagories cover ethnic and religious minorities and ‘gays.’ It’s rare indeed to have a white bread, Christian, straight, young man fall into that catagory.
