Why else would the AZ chapter of the Anti-Defamation League be spending it’s time and resources requesting a Justice Department investigation of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio?
The ADL, noted for combating anti-Semitism, alleges that the Sheriff’s successful crime patrols, engage in racial profiling.
It would seem they would have enough to deal with in their own community, without venturing into this arena. But since the group is so concerned about Hispanic issues, they might want to look into some of the virulent anti-Semitism emanating from groups such as MEChA and LaRaza.
The ADL’s own website acknowledges the messages of vicious anti-Jewish hatred originating within the two Hispanic groups.
That task should keep ADL executive director, Bill Straus, and the chairman of its board, lawyer David Bodney, busy. Coincidently, Bodney also represents the Arizona Republic.

I’m sorry, but I don’t get this. Why would a Jewish group involve itself in this issue–and to the extent of contacting the Justice Dept. to investigate the elected and very popular sheriff? I followed the link you provided to the ADL’s website and it’s clear they should be concerned with the hate-filled spew coming from the Hispanic groups towards them. It’s all outlined on their own site.

It seems as though there is a cultural desire to put liberal ideals before self-preservation. What else would explain this bizarre action of the ADL? Especially in view of the information on their own website. Thanks for including that link. It was interesting.

Most American Jews are descendants of turn of the (last) century immigrants. The difference between those immigrants and today’s “border crossers,” is that they came to this country LEGALLY through the port of Ellis Island. They quickly acclimated, took English language courses in night school, and realized the way to get ahead was to make sure their children were educated. They kept their culture and languages, but became proud Americans. No marching through the streets waving the flags of the countries they willingly left, making demands and issuing threats. That’s why this action by the Anti-Defamation League is so appalling.

My mother always told me that the Jews were so smart because they valued education so much. Looks to me that they have been dumbed down by the liberal education system and MSM just like rest of liberal America. Why do they keep signing those worthless treaties with the Islamic terrorists? Why do they keep aborting the new generation of Jews allowing for the Muslims to replace them? Not too smart if you ask me. But then again, we just selected McCain to destroy the Republican Party. We are not too bright either.
