In case you’ve wondered what happened to Huck
Playing coy on Veep, still battling with Mitt
Good sportsmanship eludes him as he continues to deliver thumps. Townhall reports on his fence-mending with Club for Growth.
While he breathlessly awaits a call from McCain, the former GOP presidential contender has signed a contract with Creative Artists Agency, a talent booking business in Los Angeles.

Huckabee is the spoiler who gave us McCain for the GOP nominee. For this many of us will never forgive him. Now, he wants to be considered for the VP slot with hopes that the aged McCain will be a one-termer and the Huckster can slip in as an “incumbent,”.

McCain clearly owes Huckabee for staying to the end even when it was clear he was not going anywhere.. Swat and elderly, McCain would never select the robust, tall and handsome Mitt Romney to show him up, regardless of how much money Romney is collecting for the campaign.
Besides, Romney has better credentials, having actually run a state rather than being one of a hundred in the senate. Also McCain has been sucking at the public trough his entire professional career, while Romney has been a hugely successful businessman in the private sector. And when called upon to rescue the failing Olympics, he did a masterful job.
If you were McCain you’d want someone who’s credentials and looks didn’t distract from you standing beside you. That obviously excludes Romney.

Who cares? We would not be in this horrible situation with McCain heading the GOP ticket if not for the self promoting antics of Huckabee. He should be tarred and feathered rather than rewarded.

We are saddled with the worst choices in memory. Huckabee certainly had a hand in creating this situation. In response, I will not be casting a ballot for president for the first time in my life. I’ll vote for all of the down ticket candidates, but there is no way I could live with myself if I voted for this character. One of my friends convinced me that he doesn’t need my vote in AZ. That made sense and gave me the best reason not to vote for him. I know of several others who feel the same.

Huckabee has signed on with a talent agency? Pretty funny! The only talent he has was to ensure McCain headed the GOP ticket. McCain, you will remember, was going nowhere fast until the lightweight Huckster decided there was something in it for him. And his anti-Mormon venomous spew put the icing on Mitt Romney’s cake. This guy is a snake. A McCain-Huckabee ticket would disgust me enough to join Gimlet and friends.

I agree with Gimlet- I won’t be voting for a presidential candidate either nor will my husband. We are disgusted. One huge issue with McCain is that he would probably be a one termer and would force through amnesty at the behest of the Dem Congress. Vote for Prez? No. Vote to oust open border Dems or Republicans from Congress? You bet!
