Democrat supporter is integral to McCampaign
The Washington Times runs an article titled McCain’s ‘nucleus’ revived campaign, recounting the successful efforts of Team McCain to resuscitate his nearly comatose political crusade for the White House.
But it is the accompanying photo that is as telling as any could be about the associations of John Sidney McCain, III. He is pictured aboard his campaign plane with a couple of advisors, including “fundraiser and friend” Greg Wendt.
If the name doesn’t ring a bell, you might want to jog your memory with this informative Sonoran Alliance post.

This is fascinating!
So a high dollar donor who has supported a vast array of Dems–including Barack Obama, is interested in a McCain win. But, of course. Makes perfect sense to me.

Thank you for your outstanding referral to an excellent Sonoran Alliance article. Great stuff! Rob is even more courageous than I gave him credit for. I am so proud to be aligned with the more conservative wing of our party. Quality people with quality results. Nice work!

Why would anything about McDude surprise anyone? He is all things to all people. If you’re a liberal, he suits you well. He calls himself a conservative, but true conservatives know better. He is an open borders proponent who says, ” I got the message, ” but still supports amnesty. He blocks efforts to be energy independent, but wants to lower gas taxes for summer drivers. He voted against tax cuts and used the same lingo the Dems used in doing so. He is for same-sex marriage and also against it–within minutes at the same forum. He instituted the restrictive McCain’Feingold campaign finance law and now works outside of it to bring money to his own campaign. He’s pro-life but is on record wanting to remove the pro-life plank from the GOP platform. He does it cagily, by saying he wants to go back to the pre-1980 platform. That’s pre-Reagan, folks!
How can any Republican actually think they are voting for one when supporting this guy?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me repeatedly…I learn. This presidential election, my vote begins with the congressional races.

Where was Al Gore? Must have been just outside camera range. Who else would Jonny take advice from to make spending billions of US tax dollars to fight this junk science of Global Warming Proposition (Oh sorry, Climate Change) a major part of his campaign? Gore is a far left Democrat. Has to be a great friend of McCain’s.

I am continually amazed about this web site! Where do you find all this stuff. You have got to have better investigative reporters than the Fish-wrapper could even
dream about. Why don’t you guys publish an alternative conservative newspaper? Might help lower JD Hayworth’s blood pressure.

Sorry. McAmnesty will not get my vote. For the first time in my life I’m sitting out the top of the ticket. There are plenty of other real Republicans I will support and vote for. McCain cares about as much for me as I do for him. No loss. He is so aligned with the left that there is really no choice this time around. I am thoroughly disgusted.

Thank you for this informative post. Thanks, too, for the link to the background on Greg Wendt. What a guy this so-called ‘maverick’ is. He colludes with the Democrats and wants us to vote for him. I’ll pass.

If I am not mistaken, isn’t this the same Senator McCain who has repeatedly attacked, in a vile, profane, and lying manner, the bulk of Republican Senators, Mitt Romney, Don Goldwater, Rumsfeld etc. He now says he is above it all when it comes to a legitimate addressing of the Obama – Rev Wright issue by the Chair of the North Carolina Republican Party. Could there be a more pompous, sanctimonious, hypocrite on the face of the earth than Senator Mccain?

Do we need a Heavenly intervention or what on this Presidential election? Right when we think he can’t be more of a traitor, he proves us wrong. Pray and fast, pray and fast…….

Have you noticed how silent the usual McSuppoters are on this? There is no reasonable defense.

Maggie,
They are too embarrassed over the the last fiasco of McCain dissing the Republican Party of North Carolina to come out from under the table. They are thinking “We couldn’t be wrong here could we? Someone shut the guy up! He is killing us. “
