NewsTalk 550 KFYI gives listeners a rare treat
Maricopa County’s top law enforcement officers, County Attorney Andrew Thomas and Sheriff Joe Arpaio did the honors as guest co-hosts on the Bruce Jacobs KFYI-AM radio talk show this morning.
The dynamic duo was enlightening and entertaining, taking questions from friend and foe alike.–and comporting themselves with intellectual clarity, integrity and wit.
KFYI carries Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, J.D. Hayworth and Michael Savage in their programming lineup.
I heard them this morning. It was an excellent show. However, Seeing Red AZ should have given advance notice rather than a review. These two professionals are quick on their feet and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure listening to people who take their jobs seriously and work in tandem for the community they were elected to represent. It certainly is a welcome change from the way things were before Thomas was elected.
I heard them, also. It was impressed to hear Joe Arpaio talk, since he presents much differently than he is portrayed. We are certainly getting misperceptions regarding his neighborhood patrols from the newspaper. Arpaio mentioned that both of his parents were immigrants–LEGAL ones.
Andrew Thomas came across as a bright and charming guy. These shows are wonderful since they blunt the erroneous image we are being force fed by the liberal Arizona Republic.
I hope these two gentlemen have the opportunity to do more such presentations.
