Liberalism trumps common sense

Do Jewish Democrats detest Gov. Palin more than they do Iranian President Ahmadinejad?

Last week, GOP AZ carried an article that is just getting national attention on the networks today.  Good work by this new blog.

This is the sad commentary on the true partisan nature of liberals.

Hillary Clinton was scheduled to speak at a United Nations protest rally denouncing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has called Israel a “stinking corpse that should be wiped off the face of the earth.”

Sen. Clinton apparently finds these comments less objectionable than the presence of Gov. Palin, since Hillary cancelled her participation because an appearance by Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP VP nominee was deemed too “partisan.”

Ahmadinejad is said to be on the brink of nuclear capabilities which could imperil not only Israel, but the entire Western world.

The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) followed that very partisan absurdity with one of its own, by demanding that Sarah Palin be uninvited from the speakers’ list. The justification for the action is that this protest is “too important to be tainted by partisanship.”

Marc R. Stanley, Chairman of the NJDC released this disingenuous statement commending the withdrawal of Palin’s invitation. No surprise since the group has been circulating a petition expressing disappointment with the selection of Gov. Palin whom they call a “right-wing religious conservative.”

I’ve never understood Jewish affection for the left. People who have historically suffered at the hands of genocidal maniacs should be pro-life and pro-Second Amendment conservatives. I have several Jewish friends and the younger ones (under 40) seem to “get it.” Most are Republicans. Change comes with time.

The previous generation venerates FDR and have lifelong bond with the Democrats. It makes no sense based on their religious teachings and accomplishments.

If Sen. Hilary Clinton’s kissing up to Hamas and PLO leadership didn’t turn the stomachs of the Jewish left, nothing will. All that gefilte fish must provide excellent training.

The Republican Jewish Coalition (yes, there ARE some Jewish Republicans) tells how Palin being disinvited sends exactly the wrong message to American enemies in Iran: http://www.rjchq.org/

Sarah Palin keeps an Israeli flag in her office and is a Christian who believes strongly in the right of Israel to exist and flourish. Hillary Clinton has no such record. Jews everywhere in this country should not only be ashamed of themselves but send an apology to Sarah Palin. As a Christian and a supporter of Israel, their stance is unfathomable to me.

Read: Thinking Outside the Lox. I found it in the Wall Street Journal. It explains this odd phenomena.
