Pullen scores again! Wins national GOP treasurer position

Newly reelected Arizona Republican Party chairman, Randy Pullen, has done it again! Today, Pullen, a certified public accountant, was elected treasurer of the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Pullen, who worked at Deloitte & Touche and is an expert financial consultant, will be the go-to guy regarding oversight and compliance with federal election filing laws.

He beat out Maryland Republican National Committee member Louis Pope.

Congratulations are in order for Randy Pullen. The two back to back major victories are most definitely praiseworthy.

Randy Pullen has every right to feel exhilarated this week. I am very proud of his accomplishments on behalf of conservatives. He represents us with good grace and a lot of wisdom.

  2. Hometown Guy says:

Plus, he shows up! That’s a rarity in and of itself. He actually spends a lot of time at the state GOP headquarters. Pullen is accessible and a had worker.

An all around good man who deserves these victories!

  3. Ajo Joe says:

I’d like to take this guy to the race track with me. He’s got the winner’s touch. Good going, Randy!

  4. AZ Conservative Guy says:

Great going, Randy! We were Pullin’ for you!!

  5. Flying V says:

Randy Pullen has shown he has a bit of King Midas going for him. Everything he touches turns to gold. I’m very happy for him. He’s worked hard and earned this honor. Now, I just hope that “unity” thing that got so much lip service actually materializes. I’m sitting back and waiting to see. I won’t hold my breath.

  6. Frankly Speaking says:

Do you think the AZ Republic newspaper will give this news any coverage? Or at least more than the final two sentences in a entire article about the Democrats, and headlined as such? That really steamed me last week. Up until Pullen won the state chairmanship post, the paper had plenty to say — all negative. When their advice isn’t followed, they can’t tolerate it even enough to comment on the facts.

I watched Ch. 8 Horizon this tonight and kept chuckling at the gruesome threesome of “journalists” sitting around that Roundtable They make Ted Simons look like a movie star. What’s that dead thing on Mike Sunnuck’s head? Yeowee.

  7. Night Owl says:

Frankly: Your points are what have rendered the Republic irrelevant. They are not interested in reporting the news. They want to craft it. Their problem lies in the fact that they have dwindling readership and influence. No one really cares what they have to say. Their mostly tanking election cycle endorsements illustrate the truth of this situation. There was a time when people used to carry their endorsements into the polling place with them. Of course, that was when it was a conservative newspaper!

  8. Terry G. says:

Pullen became well known and liked among his RNC peers. Must have been those pro border security resolutions he brought to the committee. Those ideas of Pullen’s passed by overwhelming majorities.

With the election of moderate Michael Steele as National Chair, nice to know Randy Pullen is there to do what he can to keep the committee on a conservative track.

  9. Realist says:

I would venture to say the majority of Republican Party Officials around the country think our presidential nominee is the reason we have B.O. in the White House. GOP elected officials who are real leaders and backers of the Republican Party would be ecstatic to have their state chairman on the executive board of the RNC. I’m not holding my breath for the Arizona contingent’s congratulatory messages.

  10. Cochise Gal says:

Pullen has done a much better job as national committeman than Mike Hellon who preceeded him ever did. Mike Hellon to this day still swaggers around with an angry scowl doing nothing but having meetings looking quite rumpled in his suit.
Pullen actually works. Besides, I have seen them both in a pair of shorts and Pullen gets my vote there too!

  11. Another LD11 PC says:

I just donated $100 to the AZ state party!
