Admitting he lied about his lies, he wants to feed us the same load of horse pucky he tried to serve up to his wife. She apparently isn’t buying and neither are we. And the people of South Carolina, who deserve better than the abandonment and spectacle in which Gov. Mark Sanford appears to be reveling, should show this fool and his stories of “sparking” and “crossing the line…but never the ultimate line,” (with anyone but his Argentine girlfriend, Maria) – the door.
His wife, Jenny said that he actually asked her several times to visit the mistress and she refused.
Good for her.

He actually seems to me to be bragging about his exploits. Obviously Sanford needs to go. He also needs to see a shrink.
There is nothing about Mark Sanford that is physically appealing, from his voice to his sullen, long and drawn face. This escapade gives him pizzazz. His wife and sons are the unfortunate victims of his very public self aggrandizing. This is his moment in the sun that far surpasses his many political accomplishments. Being seen as a desirable sex symbol makes all of his previous endeavors pale in comparison. What a pathetic creature.
When he gave his initial tearful press conference a few days ago, I noticed that he apologized first to his girl friend, then to his staff and the citizens of the state, and only then did he add his wife and boys as if as an afterthought. It made me cringe. He obviously holds them in low regard. A psychiatrist would say that is because they are pure and by their very existence, they make him feel inferior.
This is one very creepy dude. He needs to leave office, either through resignation or impeachment ASAP.
I guess this guy couldn’t get a date for the prom and so is living out his fantasy life to the deep embarrassment of his wife and sons. His wife is all class and hopefully the boys have more DNA from her gene pool than Sanfords. She and the state need to cut him loose so he can go flying down to Rio.
