Cass Sunstein, a Harvard Law professor who has been appointed to a shadowy post that will grant him powers that are merely mind-boggling, explicitly supports using the courts to impose a “chilling effect” on speech that might hurt someone’s feelings. He thinks that the bloggers have been rampaging out of control and that new laws need to be written to corral them, writes Ed Lasky for American Thinker.
Sunstein has recently been selected by President Obama to head the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, a title reminiscent of The Ministry of Truth in George Orwell’s 1984.
And it’s a family affair. Sunstein recently married another long-time confidant of Barack Obama’s, foreign policy guru Samantha Power.
Consider the title of Sunstein’s new book, “On Rumors: How Falsehoods Spread, Why We Believe Them, What Can Be Done.”
It’s enough to send cold chills down your spine.

Another terrifying overstep by Obama. He really does want to do away with our Constitutionally granted freedoms and impose constraints on our American way of life.
These “czars” are incestuous. The interconnections are more than troubling. And, by the way, why are we overrun with “czars?” How about calling them “directors?”
