As Nancy Pelosi glowingly reported on the “bi-partisan” passage of the House’s version of Obama’s nationalization and massive power grab of America’s health care system, here are the facts.
Just a single Republican, Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao, voted with the Democrats. The Los Angles Times provides an overview of the sellout chap who represents a predominantly Democrat district..
Check out the nation’s congressional representatives and their votes here.
Uber-liberal Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) — because this version didn’t go far enough left to suit him — joined with Republicans in voting against the monstrosity. Bad reason, good vote.
In the end the $1 trillion+ bill, HR 3962, erroneously titled Affordable Health Care for America Act, passed 220 – 215, with 39 Democrats joining 176 Republicans.
The vote against the bill was indeed bi-partisan; the vote in favor was a sham.

First THIS:”The final pitch came Saturday around noon, when Obama called Cao and apparently offered assurances that he would help economic recovery in his district, which is mostly minority and poor.”
THEN This, from the very next paragraph, from the very same Foxnews.com article:”We were able to sit down to talk about recovery, to talk about the needs of the district,” Cao told Fox News, though he said no “promises” were made. “The administration and I, we have a very great relationship.”
Well, Congressman Cao…which is it, sir? Please remember that you SWORE AN OATH…which evidently seems to be absolutely WORTHLESS when voiced by most of your co-workers, & apparently yourself as well. Nice job supporting socialism, dude. We’ll see how well it flies soon enuff, huh? Again, why didn’tcha’ just SAY you were a Lib up front?!?!?! (I seem to be repeating myself on this point, often…

Americans are taking names and planning to kick some representative butt real soon. This is going to cost them the House with the end result that the Senate will, hopefully, trash can the whole mess. Huge disconnect with the people of this country and it should cost them. I can’t wait to see Pelosi kicked to the curb. I think her rating as the most hated woman in America is secure.

Agreed sherriaz! I can not understand why just ONE of the persons in congress hasn’t called for impeachment proceedings on this woman. She is an absolute disgrace.
