Given consistent findings that Americans overwhelmingly support efforts to halt illegal immigration, it’s not surprising that 68% of U.S. voters oppose sanctuary cities, according to Rasmussen Reports. A New York Times/CBS News poll found that 69% of American adults believe illegal immigrants should “be prosecuted and deported for being in the U.S. illegally.”

Oddly enuff, our “representatives” apparently don’t care about the aforementioned stastics, or the desires of their constituents. However…the number of said representatives seeking un-employment benefits come January of ‘11 evidently grows with each passing day…

Stimulus, cap and trade, global warming, healthcare and now illegal immigration. And still the Dems don’t get that Americans are interested in JOBS. Why on earth would we support providing for legal employment for 20 million people PLUS the resultant chain migration of millions more through “family unification”. This includes grandparents, aunts, uncles… with no proof of relationship required!
The Dems are desperate to solidify their numbers as they see voters turning against them in droves. Like healthcare, I pray that this legislation dies in the Senate. While Pelosi has a political death wish, others seem to want to hang onto their jobs after the next election cycle.

What is sad is that the Dems control both Houses & the Executive – they only a couple RINO’s & it’s done (even without them). Our Gov’t is against We the People – hopefully we can vote them out of office & vote in people with principles who will STAND for We the People & not their own interests. Amnesty is the next step in destroying this Country and sadly McCain, Kyl, Flake, Grahamnesty & so many other RINO’s are for it – remember the backroom deals. We are in a huge fight for our Country, or we lose it.
