The daily’s headline blasts the good news: Fewer murders expected in Phoenix.
Readers had to muddle through to paragraph five before getting a clue about the reason for the substantive drop in homicide cases in the Valley. Tucked in among the lengthy article were these telling words::
Since 2000, on average, detectives solved about 46 percent of annual cases in years where the total number of victims spiked from increased gang violence, drug smuggling and human trafficking.
These are crimes that originate with, and gain their foothold in, illegal alien populations, who originally violated our laws entering the USA . Once here, many continue in nefarious dealings, often with tragic results.
Back in July, the Republic ran this AP report: Influx of Mexican migrants falls 60% in 1 year.
The link, by the Republic’s own admission, is undeniable.

“Could there be a correlation?” You betcha! And these stats give credible evidence to that fact!

The Republic must have hated reporting these numbers. It’s clear that illegal immigration is driving these figures. When your first act in entering the US is to break the law, it sets a pattern that often worsens. They begin by purchasing stolen ID and driver’s licenses, etc. and it accelerates from there. I have zero sympathy for lawbreakers and those who advocate open borders. The lawbreakers can get their punishment, and the advocates will never again get my vote!

Good time to remember the eight Republicans who walked out or voted “No” on Sen. Pearce’s anti-sanctuary city policy bill earlier this year. The bill failed by five votes:
Here is the Republican illegal alien coddling caucus and their District number:
Nancy Barto-7, Doug Quelland-10, Rich Crandall-19, Adam Driggs-11, Lucy Mason-1, Bill Konopnicki-5, Carolyn Allen-8 and John Nelson-12.
Where are the pro-sovereignty candidates to run against these illegal invasion encouraging “representatives” of you and me?

You couldn’t be more right, Roger! Those legislators exposed their true amnesty credentials as they sneaked out on the vote to reject sanctuary city policies. Those policies cost us untold millions in benefits and jobs. So what those legislators are actually saying is, “Keep you billfolds open for us to dig into and fund and encourage ever more illegal immigration.

So, if we have Andrew Thomas looking to run for AG, who will be the County Attorney capable of maintaining the fight on the law and order side of things? Is Bill Montgomery someone who “gets it?” He’s the only one readying for a run to replace Thomas.

There’s a direct correlation not only with crime statistics, but in test scores, identity theft, communicable diseases, home foreclosures, job losses and medical costs. All worsen when illegal immigration goes up. Additionally, charitable organizations are being drained by non-citizens using services that should be going to legal residents, i.e. food boxes, school supplies, Christmas gifts, cash for rent and utilities.
Frankly, getting a few more sales tax dollars from a “mercado” shopping center isn’t worth it. Send them home to shop- we want our malls back, sans Spanish signage thank you very much.
