Citing the reliable old saw of “family commitments,” Arkansas U. S. Rep. Vic Snyder sees the handwriting on the wall and has decided to take a dive.
Snyder joins a growing number of Democrat veterans who have recently thrown in the towel rather than risk defeat: Sen. Byron Dorgan (N.D.) and Sen. Chris Dodd (CT) have done the same, while Alabama Rep. Parker Griffith, an M.D., disgusted with ObamaCare, has reregistered as a Republican.
Read Snyder’s terse letter to constituents in which he acknowledges that “2010 will be a robust election year during which great forces collide to set the direction for our country for another two years.”
You’ve got that right, Mr. Snyder.
What he actually means is that the people are fed up with Democrat business as usual. He knows it and isn’t up to the battle.
After the loud and clear message sent to Obama in the bluest of blue states last night, expect to see the list of Dem defectors grow.
Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, seeking a fifth term, is polling at only 36% against two Republican challengers, shedding an additional 7 points from last month where he stood at an embarrassing enough 43%. In 2004, he received 61% of the vote. The American people are venting their angry frustration over the federal attempt to overhaul health care and Democrat blatant disregard of their voices raised in objection.
If the dem0-socialists, chiefly the head muslim, & secondarily, House leader Pelosi along with Senate leader Reid, had simply kept their word, Dems wouldn’t be in this boat. ALL they had to do was keep their word.
I believe the exodus will continue. And in my opinion, we should be greatful for their inability to stand & fight, as well as tell the truth, & lastly to control themselves. They were given the opportunity to Lead. They responded like excited puppies, piddling the carpet over a little attention. But they were also like puppies in their selfishness & GREED. Their lack of respect for their Oaths, OUR Constitution, & their constituents has been, & WILL Continue to BE their un-doing.
Republicans need to PAY ATTENTION! We have an opportunity to bring Integrety, Civility, Liberty, & FREEDOM back to America! Or we can FOLLOW the footsteps of the dem0-socialists, & we as a nation will continue to spiral into the sewer of socialism. R.I.N.O.’s-make up your minds, & follow your conscience, or RETIRE! America wants Conservatism, LESS Government, Fiscal Responsibility, Honesty, Integrety, & Legitiment Transparancy! The recovery of Liberty is OURS to LOSE!

McCain would be bailing too, except his ego and his nearly $30 million keep him in the game. Do you expect him to stay home with Cindy Lou and his “fat assed” (as in “you can kiss my fat ass”) daughter, Meghan? As much as I can’t stand McCain, I wouldn’t wish that on him.
2010 is going to be an amazing year for the conservative movement. We got an amazing shot in the arm last night and the Democrats are scared!!! I cannot wait to see Senator Reid’s face once he loses or drops out b/c of “Health Problems.”
