The Sonoran News has been conscientiously resolute in its mission to inform readers regarding the antics of Rep. Nancy Barto (R-Dist.7). With early ballots beginning to hit mailboxes, there is an urgency to enlighten voters in Legislative District 7 about the questionable behavior of their current House member — now running for a state senate seat.
Wes Harris of the Original North Phoenix Tea Party sent out an e-mail recently warning, “If you live in LD 7, beware of Nancy Barto…”
An inveterate McCain supporter, Barto has his unique fondness for illegal aliens that is evidenced by her slipping out the door of the legislative chamber rather than vote on [then] Rep. Russell Pearce’s anti-sanctuary bill, the forerunner of SB 1070. When not dodging votes by disappearing, her habitual voting pattern on illegal immigration related legislation includes not voting or simply voting “present.”
Nancy Barto has become known as the doyenne of special interests as detailed in this Sonoran News article. Last week we covered a report by Sonoran News reporter Linda Bentley detailing Barto’s numerous unsavory shenanigans.
Leaving no stone unturned, Don Sorchych, the newspaper’s Editor and Publisher also editorializes about Barto here, where he endorses Rep. Ray Barnes for the district’s senate seat.
The far left Arizona Republic gave Barto and her political soul-mate Heather Carter the editorial nod, which for most conservatives is an effective kiss of death. Since the two women are RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) at best, they should feel right at home in this arid political wilderness.
I commend the Sonoran News for staying on this issue. I know Nancy Barto and can attest to the fact that she gave a royal screwing to state legislator David Burnell Smith, after offering to assist him. She went behind his back and finagled an appointment to his seat after he was wrongly removed by the unelected Citizens Not-So-Clean Elections Commission.
Nancy Barto is a wily snake who sadly uses religion to conceal her true identity. I’m an elected Republican precinct committeeman in the district and will never vote for her again.

This is a fabulous video! Heather Carter is running as a teammate of Nancy Barto. Heather Carter has also teamed up with David Braswell, the slim ball tool of the education union, running to retain his appointed senate seat in LD 6. Don’t be conned by any of these snakes.
