Wondering what the old Maverick McCain is up to lately?

In an article Senators support illegal immigration super highway published in the Las Cruces Sun-News, Marita Noon discloses shenanigans in the U.S. Senate that we haven’t been reading about here in Arizona.

Twenty-three Senators have recently thrown their support behind an innocent looking bill — S1689 — introduced by Democrat Sen. Jeff Bingaman and his lone co-sponsor and fellow Democrat Tom Udall last September. The bill will, among other things, create an illegal immigration superhighway, remove access to “natural resources,” and ultimately strip ranchers of their grazing rights, all under the mega-deception of “preserving” approximately 250,000 acres as wilderness.

As other issues such as stimulus spending, health care, and cap-and-trade have taken the spotlight, this harmless sounding bill, which makes land in New Mexico part of the National Wilderness Preservation System and the National Landscape Conversation System, received virtually no attention. However, it has percolated to the top as the markup of the bill has been approved (23-0) and is headed to the Senate floor — with the support of the Obama administration, given in testimony before the Energy Committee.

As numerous non-border states mimic Arizona’s immigration law, polls show that the majority of the public wants to stem the tide of illegal immigrants. S1689 will disappoint that majority.

Unless people speak up, this New Mexico bill will sail through on a professional courtesy to Sens. Bingaman and Udall.

And as John McCain gave electioneering lip service to citizen’s demands to close the border, he joined with 23 others who voted to move S1689 to the floor. Supporters including McCain and his Senate Democrat cohorts Mary Landrieu (LA), and Blanche Lincoln (AR), need to be held accountable.

Now that he has, for all intents and purposes, been reelected for another six-year term, don’t look for John McCain to be making the rounds or answering questions.  Just figure we’ve been snookered again.

But what the heck — give him a call, anyway.

Unfortunately, in Arizona, money trumps principles. AMNESTY-JOHN mccain successfully duped the voters into supporting this lying, phony conservative, rino traitor in the primary by spending over $21 MILLION dollars. Similarly, TAX-AND-SPEND rino traitor brewer helped stick it to the taxpayers by raising taxes by $3 BILLION using $2 MILLION in ads from unions and big government leeches, who will get the $3 BILLION (what a bargain for them!)

Evidently, the goal of the teachers’ union, which to produce an electorate so dumb and unthinking they’ll support anything that’s advertised enough, has succeeded in Arizona.

Screwed again and whose fault is it? All of those nitwits who reelected this deceiver. They not only sold Arizona down the river but have a fraudulent Republican voting with the Democrats again. Did anyone actually think this miserable old liar would change?

  3. CharlotteW says:

Please tell me why we have the Independents still voting in the Republican primary? I saw it time in and time out the Independents voting for McLouse. IF we had the Republican’s only voting in the primary we would have JD Hayworth as our Senator elect. Get a set Republicans, close the primary, ghee.

Apparently, the going price for a U.$. $enate $eat i$ approximately $21,000,000.00…wow…Tho$e of u$ who did due diligence & voted our conscience, while continuing to worry about the state of our government have that 1 thing we don’t need to feel guilty over. We voted for the Consistent Conservative, JD Hayworth. May I HIGHLY recommend WRITING HIM IN ON THE GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT?!?!?!

On a sadder note, the KPHO news last night reported that there was a record turnout @ the polls…30 WHOPPING PERCENT!!! Whoohoo! 30%!

    Emesis, NOW!

I never wonder the old coot has been up to. It’s always the same: No good! His forte is partnering with democrats to cause harm to Arizonans and the entire United States.

Doc is right, we throw away our right to vote and this creep is able to re-purchase his seat. Wonder what the cost per vote was?

Great idea about writing JD’s name in on the ballot! I hadn’t thought of that but will take your advice, Doc.

  6. Kathy says:

Doc – that is exactly what I’m going to do – wirte-in JD. I will never vote for McCain because he is a liar. Hopefully this will go viral on the internet & voters will wake up in Nov, there are wolves in the Republican party dressed in sheeps clothing.

Snookered, hell! Bought and paid for is more like it. Longtime Arizonans are the least likely to vote for Juan McAmnesty. We know him and dislike him. Don’t forget that we have a very mobile population in Arizona. People who know little about the candidates except the lies they hear incessantly from the name they recognize, are more likely to buy into the garbage.
And as much as I dislike saying it, veterans who buy into the hero mystique also put him over the top. The hero was shot down twice, fifty years ago. Time to move on. My dad and his brother were both in Vietnam and neither of them voted for McCain, but they were in the minority among their fellow vets. And although they were not imprisoned, they both sustained serious injuries that are far worse than McCain’s. My uncle lost a leg and my dad was left with one kidney and lost much of his large intestine.

    Q: What’s the difference between phony-conservative AMNESTY-JOHN mccain and a lunatic-left d-crat socialist?

A: With the socialist, the jackass symbol belongs to the politician; with AMNESTY-JOHN the jackass symbol belongs to those who voted for him.

  9. DeAnn says:

We need to make a bad situation better by making sure McCain supporters are not elected to precinct committeemen leadership positions in January. We have to change our party. I am sick of RINO’s.

    • LD 11 PC says:

Very good thinking, DeAnn. We were trying to ensure solid conservatives in my district, but the McCainiacs were successful in taking out some excellent and hardworking people. Thank Joe Arpaio and Trent Franks when you see them. They both endorsed Vernon Parker who has worked with the McCain faction to remove conservatives.

Some people don’t appear to realize that the real battleground begins at the precinct level and that Team McCain has been working to remove conservatives at that level so they can tilt the AZ GOP to the left. I’ll fight them with my last breath.
