Liberals long for President Reagan’s “more forceful” response
Last year Libya’s tyrannical leader Muammar Gaddafi praised Barack Obama, calling him “a friend,” and said he considered him a blessing to the Muslim world. “Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama.”
And although the United Nations’ Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, meddling in our state’s issue, released a scathing statement condemning Arizona’s SB1070, Obama refused to condemn — in fact, remained silent — regarding Libya’s election onto the farcical UN Human Rights Council.
Libya, a country with well documented ties to terrorist organizations and an abysmal human rights record, was elected in a secret ballot. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, an Obama appointee, would not reveal how the U.S. voted.
Now as pressure mounts on Obama to intervene in halting Muammar Gaddafi’s bloody massacre of civilians in Libya, numerous commentators — including Obama loyalist Matthews — have been wondering why Barack Obama has been guarded in his criticism of the dictator. Obama zealously supported the recent removal of U.S. ally, Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak.

When committed lefties such as Chris Matthews, who previously admitted Obama’s election gave him a “thrill up my leg” are disenchanted, how well does it bode for the president’s aspirations in 2012?
Wow! Will wonders ever cease? Chris “shiver me timbers” Matthews calls Barack-O an arabist and expresses disappointment in the guy that nearly brought him to tears? Never thought I’d see the day!!
AND,when they compare Obama to Reagan, it’s Obama who comes up lacking. I’d never have bet on that from this crowd.
So Gaddafi thinks Obama is “a blessing to the Muslim world.” Funny thing is I think so, too. I never thought I’d agree with a murderous, tyrannical and maniacal dictator.
I would like to know why our ‘so-called president’ is not saying anything about all of this? I agree with the person who posted the original message..this is all rather curious. I never thought I would see the day that Chris Matthews would have negative things to say about the man who caused him to have “thrills up his leg!!” Why so disenchanted, Chris?? I saw just the beginning of The Glenn Beck Show today..but if I’m not mistaken, it involved basically what is being discussed in this blog.
Bet you won’t see this headline in the Republic soon – or ever. Sure wish someone here had the resources to compete with the monopolistic rag in a real way.
Obama is a Communist at best and a Shariah Islamist at worst. We have less than sixteen months to establish the grass roots network at a new level if we are to beat his sorry backside.

Years back Arizona’s conservative former Gov. Evan Mecham published the Evening American newspaper. But advertisers had the squeeze put on them by establishment types of both parties, and the resulting loss of revenue stream caused its demise. I was a subscriber and can attest that it was a great alternative to the Republic, which wasn’t even as liberal then as it is today. Who could have envisioned that Eugene Pulliam’s respected newspaper would morph into the garbage wrapper it has become?
Libya is another one of those 3 AM phones calls mentioned by hillary – and, once again, “You Lie!” hussein is asleep (or hungover from the booze and drugs of yet another taxpayer-funded party.)
