The Obama’s, in full-fledge campaign mode, attended church on Christmas morning, a rarity for the First Family.
Barack Obama has kept a low profile since arriving in Oahu, Hawaii late last week, preferring not to call attention to their opulent surroundings at the multimillion-dollar, 6,000 sq. ft. secluded luxury house — just down the road from the retreat they have previously rented each year on Kailua Beach. The new digs have 5 bedrooms and a larger swimming pool, lush tropical gardens, koi pond and a greater level of privacy. A temporary eight foot barrier has been built as an added measure of privacy and security
He has no public events planned, and his only outings are expected to be to the golf course or to take his daughters for Hawaiian-style snow cones.
Obama pre-recorded a special Christmas edition of his weekly address at the White House before leaving for Hawaii. Not only did he thank U.S. troops, military families and veterans for their service, he even mentioned Christians — in this roundabout manner:
“Giving of ourselves, service to others – that’s what this season is all about.”[Part] of what it means to love God is to love one another. …but that belief is not just at the center of our Christian faith, it’s shared by Americans of all faiths and backgrounds.”
As though the Bushes didn’t travel in luxury. *sigh*
What a short memory you have! The Bushes spent Christmas at their own ranch home in Crawford Texas, You lefties always fail when you try to make a point.
Actually, it is said that the Bushes spent Christmas at the White House as to defer to the Secret Service detail so the could spend the Holiday with tier families. They did however, take off to the ranch the next day.
No wonder the Obama’s have such “compassion.” They obviously have first hand knowledge of the hardships his administration has thrust upon American taxpaying citizens.
It’s pure hell for Kailua residences with Obama and crew in town, BUT no matter how hard they try, locals always seem to pop up behind their security lines making for some fun times, so my sister and brother-in-law say. Their house is on Kailua Beach, which Obama has tried to lease for the past three years, and no matter the offer it’s simply, NO.
Obama said love is at the center of all faiths.
Excuse me, but I know of one faith which has explosives at its center.

This latest $4 MILLION taxpayer-funded luxury Hawaiian vacation brings the total for taxpayer-funded vacations for “Fat Cakes” michelle to nearly $15 MILLION this year.
…but WE THE PEOPLE…should scale back…conserve…etc.
