Who’s pro life?
BuzzFeed reports on John McCain. You might remember him from his atypical town hall meetings during his worrisome senatorial campaign. It was the first time many Arizonans ever laid eyes on the guy in the flesh. Unlike others in the delegation, he keeps his distance from the underlings who stuff the envelopes and pound those campaign signs into the parched caliche during the hot days preceding elections. He didn’t even bother to attend the 2008 state presidential preference election where his delegates endorsed him for the nation’s top job.
Here is McCain undercutting conservative Michele Bachmann, and blasting Tea Party patriots as “amazing,” foolish” and “deceiving.” He also referred to them as “Hobbits,” later claiming he was “misunderstood. Watch him here advocating for raising the debt limit.
The Arizona senator recently blunderously endorsed his former rival Mitt Romney. Many Romney supporters worried that such a move might actually be harmful to the candidate, who has, in recent years increasingly veered to the right.
Now it’s revealed that McCain’s 2008 campaign team was hard at work on a voluminous, 200-page opposition research tome to besmirch the former Massachusetts governor. A major area in which considerable work was done was on issues related to abortion which Team McCain made a focal point. Like many, Romney has evolved to a strong pro-life position and his views are welcomed. He has also won the support of the Honorable Kris Kobach, who worked with Arizona’s former Senate President Russell Pearce in crafting Arizona’s nationally copied law, known as SB 1070, addressing the massive and costly problem of illegal immigration.
For a refresher of McCain’s own view on the subject of the sanctity of life, we offer this telling video in which he calls abortion an “unpleasant…procedure,” and advocates for “going back to the platform of 1980 and ‘84” — before the pro-life plank was included:
Sssooo…here’s an “anonymously leaked” document from Mr. McCain’s FAILED 2008 Presidential bid regarding Mr. Romney:

PULLEEEEZZZZE…
Our John Kerry…
Romney(care): He was FOR abortion before he was AGAINST it; he was FOR the individual mandate before he was AGAINST it; he was FOR appointing leftist activist judges before he was AGAINST it; he was FOR coddling ILLEGALS before he was AGAINST it; he was FOR the auto bailout before he was AGAINST it; he was FOR massive tax increases BEFORE he was AGAINST it….
In EVERY GOP debate, gingrich has knocked AT LEAST ONE out of the park – and usually several. NOBODY can beat him in a debate, nobody is better prepared, nobody speaks more clearly and effectively, nobody has a better understanding of the issues and nobody has better knowledge of history. The debate between OBOZO and gingrich will be historic in its one-sidedness and newt will show OBOZO for all that he is: a massively arrogant, pompous, insubstantial, boorish, incompetent, rude and nasty clown.
You have got to be kidding me. There are teaparty members supporting Gingrich? Gingrich and Pelosi are political lovers. They are in a political love affair. They dig each other. Get it?
NEWTS A LIB.
Seeingredaz editor, can you repost that list of lib bills Newt sponsored or co-sponsored that I provided you in December?
There are PAGES AND PAGES of liberal bills Newt sponsored or co-sponsored. Not one or two but literally pages of them.
I really hate to bring this up, but Obama will not participate in any debates. He may get cajoled into one but will insist on a leftist organization [MSNBC] of some sort to sponsor it with very favorable rules and condition toward Obama.
If there is a debate it will be a sham.
if Gingrich wins in the primary and, I really hope he does, O Bama will refuse to debate. There is no requirement for a debate. If BO has gotten us into a war by then he can always say he is too busy.
If Romney wins, O Bama will show that Romney often votes and governs like he does. He will use the old “why change” when we are in the middle of a war routine or, the old McCain book of evils that he thinks Romney was guilty of when he ran.
I sure wish I could feel better about this election but I am scared that we will see the American hating Muslim in office again. I hope I am wrong but it was the dumb and dummer that voted last time and they will be voting again.
And here is McCain on his support for federal funding for embryonic stem cell research:
If anyone had any questions about whether McCain opposed the pro-life plank in the GOP platform, this video should make his position clear enough. Along with his support of embryonic stem cell research, it’s a real head scratchier that the pro life movement has endorsed him.
Marianne-With respect I say to you that it isn’t a head scratcher…follow th’ MONEY, Baby…follow th’ money! Remember…the cost of an Arizona Senate seat in Washington D.C. is approximately $25,000.000.00…give or take…Ca$hola makes th’ strangest bedfellows…
How did Arizona Right to Life ever support this opportunistic chameleon? Simple. He buys tables at their events, though he never attends. Who’s the real hypocrite here? Doc got it right again.
McAwful also blasted Rick Santorum. Here he’s acting as an old and toothless pit bull. I wish Romney had told this worthless baggage, “John, thanks but no thanks.”

Give us all a break, they are two of a kind. The only difference is age and looks.
