Conservatives drop united bomb on Gingrich

Newt Gingrich: Pants on fire

In this two page commentary in National Review Online, Newt Gingrich is exposed as repeatedly insulting President Ronald Reagan in the 1980‘s. It is written by Elliott Abrams, an assistant secretary of state in the Reagan Administration and deputy national security adviser in the George W. Bush Administration

Newt Gingrich has been touting service in the House under Ronald Reagan, yet in 1988, he warned George  H. W. Bush not to run as “a continuation of Reaganism,” saying he wouldn’t win. Watch this telling video.

Here Newt Gingrich is exposed as rewriting his Reagan connection.  What he said in 1983 was Reagan was responsible for “national decay.”

R. Emmett Tyrrell, founder and editor-in-chief of the conservative American Spectator, exposes Newt Gingrich as William Jefferson Gingrich.

Ann Coulter, conservative columnist and legal correspondent for Human Events states the facts clearly in “Re-elect Obama: Vote Newt!

Tom DeLay, a top deputy to Gingrich during the Republican revolution of the mid-1990s, joined the chorus of other conservative members breaking their silence about Gingrich’s erratic leadership style. In this radio interview with KTRH‘s Michael Berry, DeLay said: “He’s not really a conservative. I mean, he’ll tell you what you want to hear. He has an uncanny ability, sort of like Clinton, to feel your pain and know his audience and speak to his audience and fire them up. But when he was speaker, he was erratic, undisciplined.”

Conservative media are united in exposing the sham that is Newton Leroy McPherson Gingrich.

I agree with Ann Coulter. Newt Gingrich is Obama’s dream opponent. There is too much at stake for him to be our Republican nominee. He wins the primary, we lose the general.

  2. TeaPartyPatriot says:

RINO groupie coulter: “Re-Elect Obama: Vote Newt!”
Repug Establishment: “Support RINO romney(care) – because we’re NEVER wrong”- (except for mccain, dole, george h.w bush, ford….).

  3. Overtaxed1 says:

I do not agree with Coulter and that is a new thing for me. Romney is anything but conservative in his record. He talks it but does not walk it. What are we to do? Vote for a moron like Ron Paul? Never, his lack of knowledge in foreign relations is to the left of BO.
Romney is a spoiled sleaze and when the left exposes what his cult religion believes he will be toast.

    • Villanova says:

Let’s face some facts here, friends. Not a single person left standing on the Republican stage is a true conservative. But having said that, each and every one of the, including the nut job Libertarian Ron Paul, would be far better than what we have. If Obama is reelected, he will be able to act even more grandly with the knowledge that he will not have to face the voters again. Our children and theirs will not know the freedom you, and every other American have taken for granted.

Newt Gingrich is the most flawed man on the stage. He will be easily beaten by Obama. That’s the plain truth. My candidate was Michele Bachmann, for the simple reason that she articulated the conservative message and did so with great credentials to back her up. The problem is she is no longer a candidate. Mitt Romney is not perfect, but neither are any of us. He has the business experience and has run a state, albeit a liberal one, which is why he sometimes governed in ways I wouldn’t have. But I’m not a candidate and neither are you. I’ve read enough of your comments to know you have problems with his religion. Then don’t join it. I would venture other presidents have belonged to faiths not high on your list. Get over it. There are LDS members in many nationally elected positions and the country is none the worse for it.We need to beat Obama. It’s an imperative. There will be no where to turn from four more years of his socialistic governance.
This is not rocket science. Mitt Romney will be the president we can count on to set this ship upright.Stop letting your bigotry rule your vote. BTW, I’m Catholic and we have only had one Catholic president in our nation’s history. When Kennedy was running there were those who claimed the Pope would run the White House. As you know, that didn’t happen.

      • Overtaxed1 says:

Who are you to tell me to “get over it”? I answer to the one and only God and He does not have a wife as Romney believes. Romney also believes, if he is a true Mormon, he is a spirit being from another planet. I sure don’t want a nut job like that as my president. George Soros is also a very successful business man but I wouldn’t want him either. It is NOT a foregone conclusion that Romney could, or, even that Newt couldn’t, beat BO so can get off your high horse on that one.

      • Doc says:

        Hey…just a heads-up…please correct me if I’m mistaken…is (your Favorite Patriot & Mine…) Senator Russel Pearce…a Mormon?

Overtaxed1-I would never presume to tell you who to support, or how to vote. But that said, Villanova rather bluntly, (which I tend to appreciate…) states the Final Fact in so many words…we MUST UNITE behind whomever is the opposition to President Obama in November, 2012. My guy was Herman Cain. He’s out. I don’t care for any of the 4 candidates left very much. Trust me tho…I’ll vote for Daffy Duck if that’s who’s the nominee to run for President AGAINST Obama in Nov. You can take THAT to th’ Bank!

      • Brandy Baron says:

So you seriously believe that our problem with Romney is his religion when most of us support Russell Pearce 100%???
Speaking for myself, I don’t like or support Romney because he’s too stiff and fake for me. When I look at and listen to him all I see or hear is a life sized Ken doll with no real substance… just $$$ and nice hair. I especially don’t trust him on immigration. At least Gingrich tells us straight up that he’ll give the illegals a way to remain here/AMNESTY… of course the only reason he’s so ‘honest’ about it is because he’s sucking up for the Hispanic vote. I see him as just another RINO amigo to the illegals who’s just like someone we are all way too familiar with here in Arizona, Juan McAmesty. I don’t trust him either.
I was a Bachmann supporter but that’s over and my dream candidate would have been Allen West but…. *sigh*.
At this point I’m rooting for Santorum because he’s the only one who acts like a real person. He’s also got the stones to stand up to the open borders/illegal alien supporters. He really sealed it for me by standing up to the church’s support of illegals. I respect and admire him for that.

Regardless of who gets the nomination I’ll be voting against BO because he is the ultimate destroyer of our country and has to be removed. (I’m keeping my clothespin and barf bag handy because I doubt my choice will be any better now than it was the last election.)

    • Luke says:

There are Mormons serving in the Senate, Congress, as Secretary of State, in state legislatures and various other offices including judgeships, all across this nation. Many of the conservatives in our AZ state legislature are members of the LDS faith. Russell Pearce, the author of SB1070 is Mormon. So is Secretary of State Ken Bennett. Get a life! Except for Jeff Flake and Adam Driggs, Mormons are overwhelmingly conservative, and definitely pro-life. Their children are taught the to understand and appreciate our US Constitution in Church. Does your faith do that? Let’s stop the broad brush religious name calling. I agree with Villanova. If you don’t like the LDS church, don’t join it. I’m an Evangelical Christian who hopes I get a chance to vote for Mitt Romney. Otherwise we’re doomed.

      • Overtaxed1 says:

If the Mormons are so conservative then why wasn’t BO challenged for his place of birth, why didn’t they stand up and
put a stop the nonsense of electing a Muslim president? They believe that is just fine I guess. It was Mormons along with LaRaza that took out their own Russell Pearce. So much for their conservative values. How is all their contributions working for you when you say you are conservative and the nation is in such a mess?

  4. American Dad says:

I see. it was up to the Mormons you dislike to challenge Obama? Listen to yourself.

So Romney’s too “stiff and fake” for you? He can win. That’s the issue here. Gingrich is too paunchy, arrogant and too much of a womanizer to suit my tastes. He has said he will give amnesty to illegals, but says he’ll do it under the guise of something similar to Social Security. Please. He’s an opportunist who is angling for the Hispanic vote. Does that make him more real?

And what does hair have to do with anything? Sen. Rand Paul (Ron’s son) wears a ridiculous ill-fitting toupee. Does that make him a bad lawmaker? Rick Perry had great hair but couldn’t articulate a cohesive thought. Let’s talk issues here. Mitt Romney is a successful businessman who presents well, knows the issues and has never been accused of bedding new honeys while preparing to dump his existing/current wife. His problem? You don’t like his religion. Would you vote for a Muslim? We’ve got one running the country, who doesn’t respect the Constitution as Romney does. These are peripheral matters that will result in Obama’s reelection. Will that make you happier than voting for a Mormon? Are you for real?

Neither isolationist Ron Paul (sounds like Obama in saying we need to chop our military defense network) nor the sanctimonious Rick Santorum (telling Gingrich God will judge him) are going to win the nomination. We better wise up.

God, who created Mormons as well as people of your faith, is probably rooting for Romney over Obama. He’s just sitting back and watching as we destroy ourselves again. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? What about when He destroyed the entire earth, covering it with a flood according to Genesis, allowing only Noah and his family (and the beasts, fish and birds) to survive? You are not religious. You’re a bigot.

  5. Kimball says:

    Overtaxed1:
One question? Would you have voted for conservative Russell Pearce if you lived in his district? Just wondering. His hair’s not great.

  6. paul marchant says:

overtaxed, Sir, you are an embarrasment to us Christians. It was bigots like you that went on witch hunts for Jews in Europe. God help us!

    • Overtaxed1 says:

Calling someone a bigot who does not respect the beliefs of those who worships at the feet of false angels and Gods is not the mark of a Christian. It is also not the heart of a true Christian to follow someone who worships in a cult that once thought blacks were not worthy of belonging to them. The problem I see is that many are blind and afraid to look at false teachings. This is the reason America is in such bad straights.
Anything goes, even in the White house.

  7. Kathy says:

It has been shown and reported that Elliott Abrams cherry picked or was fed snipits of an hour long speech on the House floor. Therefore his article is totally out of context – Lord @ American Spectator has the article.

  8. TeaPartyPatriot says:

Commands from the Ruling Class Republican Establishment (with help from our pals: the d-cRAT socialists and their stooges/puppets in the socialist media):

There is nothing wrong with your mind. Do not attempt to think for yourself. We are controlling the information provided for the Republican primaries. If we wish to destroy a conservative, we will bring up the volume of attacks. If we wish to support a RINO, we will tune it to a pleasant sound. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image of a conservative, make it flutter. We can change the focus of a conservative to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity for an establishment RINO. For the remainder of the primary season, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your mind. You are about to participate in a great adventure – the approval of the RINO that we establishment clowns have selected to win the nomination. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to… ANOTHER RULING-CLASS ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE LOSER.

(FYI: each and every Ruling Class Establishment Repub candidate, like RINO romney(care), has LOST the election: mccain, dole, george h.w. bush, ford….)
