Ridicules Romney’s wealth, concept of self deportation for illegals
“How close were you to breaking out and laughing out loud about this fantasy?” Newt Gingrich mocked while discussing Mitt Romney’s plan of “self deportation” during his recent interview with Spanish-language Univision Network anchor Jorge Ramos.
Under questioning, Gingrich has said he would grant expedited citizenship to illegals who “join the military” or to those who have “been in the U.S. 25 years.” Gingrich has previously expressed leniency for those who are “members of a church,“ or “grandmothers.“ He said the rest, “11 million,” [his gross under-estimate] should be given access to a guest-worker program. In the worst economy since the Great Depression, many suffering American citizens would argue that imported workers are the last thing we need.
The beneficiary of huge Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac consulting fees who supported Obama’s healthcare mandates, proceeded to ridicule Mitt Romney for his successes. “I think that you have to live in a world of Swiss bank accounts and Cayman Island accounts and automatic $20 million a year income with no work, to have fantasy this far from reality,” he told Ramos.
Listen closely as Gingrich accuses Romney of showing “no humanity” towards elderly illegal foreign nationals and then called for the United States to work toward “getting legality for the entire country.”
Gingrich was pandering for Florida Hispanic votes that never materialized. He was trounced. Cubans who are legal Americans doen’t buy into this. Most are conservative Republicans.
I guess nobody told Newt that most Cubans are against illegal immigration so all of his Hispanic a$$ kissing for votes there was a waste of time and only worked against him.
I just don’t see how anyone who claims to be against illegal immigration could give a vote to someone who wants to reward the illegals for breaking our laws with a way to remain here taking jobs from Americans and legal residents and taking advantage of benefits they don’t deserve.
No Newt for this American of Mexican descent!
In shilling for ObamaCare, Gingrich said “this is the kind of general model that we’re going to be advocating.”
Here’s the report from the conservative Weekly Standard:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/gingrich-endorsed-health-care-mandate-following-obamacare-press-conference-may-2009_618900.html
Gingrich talks about a pathway to citizenship for “guest workers,” which puts his amnesty scheme right in line with Obama’s. He has pimped for nearly all illegals to become citizens, after a bit of paper shuffling, of course. He thinks it can be done by boards “similar to selective service.” I pray he’s not the nominee, because we’ve been through this in 2008 and you all saw how that went. Gingrich = McCain.
Seeing Red:
I know you’re in the tank for Romney, however, have you not considered the possibility that Rick Santorum could be the true conservative compromise to Mitt or Newt? Besides, check out what George Soros said about the difference between BHO & Mitt “not much difference – just bring in different people”.
Except for his views on terrorism – Ron Paul is sounding better everyday.
Santorum is the truest conservative rnning and would be the very best choice for our country but few want to give a real look at him because Newt & Mitt are being shoved down our throats by the media.
Santorum has 4-8 years of coaching to learn to stop stammerring on the stump before he can be considered potential commander in chief material. just keepin it real.
Rewarding illegal invaders or making them apply for citizenship like those who are not breaking our laws and actually want to be Americans?
Santorum is the best first choice for conservatives. Unfortunately, Santorum is getting no traction. It’s either Mitt or Newt. At least Mitt is not pandering and that alone puts him ahead of Newt.
Soros and Romney? I hear Ron Paul is running a going out of business sale on tin foil hats.
I agree with your assessment on Santorum. He is the most conservative and he is unlikely to get the nomination. Sad truth. Of the two (I don’t count Ron Paul) left standing, Romney is by far the most trustworthy. I’ll bet Callista keeps an ankle bracelet on Newt. He doesn’t look like much, but they say power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.
Newt: All bravado, braggadocio, and Bullsheet. I want a president I can be proud of. If Newt was elected we’d have to worry whether we could trust him, just as his former wives all had to do. They found out they couldn’t. And won’t Callista make a charming first lady…er…woman?
SRA people, listen to yourselves. I hear you, and many other frustrated conservatives say “Santorum is the most conservative, but…”
In order for this great man gain traction, you know it will have to come from the ground roots up. Talk up Santorum to your friends, relatives, acquaintances and misguided Tea Party leaders and especially on the blogs and news sites you frequent. Support him from the ground up, because he is the best candidate standing. Let other frustrated conservatives know that there are a whole lot of us out here, and we won’t settle and hold our noses again. We should not have to settle for another RINO who will grow government, raise taxes and continue to spend us into oblivion just because that’s what the media or the RNC says is best for us.
Lastly, when you go into that voting booth on Feb 28, make your mark for “Santorum for President.”
This is too important to surrender to liberals. Fight and coantinue to fight—let your voices be heard across the entire country. DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT.
God bless America.
Santorum is the best Conservative voice for the people, I just received my early ballot and I choose Rick Santorum for President. If he does not with the GOP nomination then I will vote for the one who does win it. Any Republican is better than President Obama.

“…elderly illegal foreign nationals…? This demonstrates Gingrich doesn’t have a clue about Hispanics. They lead the country in teenage pregnancies and it is not uncommon to see “grandmothers” 30-40 years old. Fool.
Romney has already caved. Last weekend in Florida he told a Hispanic leader group he favors work permits for illegals, and they must leave after the permit expires. With millions here on expired visas, he thinks they will self-deport with a work permit? If he is elected and implements this plan, what will it do to anti-illegal alien laws in Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina, etc.? Cripple them faster than Obama – a nation killing disaster. The states aggressively driving illegals out is the only shred of hope against a Hispanicized America and a California-cloned electorite.
If you are enraged from a decade-plus of Hispandering, Romney and his front man McCain is a gamble at best. The only candidate left that hasn’t showed weakness on illegal immigration is Santorum. If the GOP machine fears the Mexico Lobby now, what will it be like in 2016 or 2020? Santorum has just picked up endorsements for Michelle Malkin and Tom Tancredo. Voters had better recognize why. The GOP is on track to pander themselves right out of business.
Neither Newton Leroy nor Rick Santorum are on the ballot in the following states:
Illinois-69 delegates
Missouri-52 delegates
Ohio-66 delegates
Tennessee-58 delegates
Virginia-49 delegates
Which pretty well leaves us stuck with Romney, because nobody’s about to get behind He Who Must Not Be Named, especially with his Crazy Ideas(tm) about Constitutional Adherence, Fiscal Sanity and Free Enterprise. There is common ground between Obama, Bush, the GOP, Dems, MoveOn.org, OWS and The Tea Party, and that’s foreign policy.
Which makes pretty good sense, because even George W. Bush and Barack Obama can agree on foreign policy(just like Clinton and Bush The Elder).
And we all know you can trust George W. Clinton Obushama a heck of a lot better than Geo. Washington when it comes to foreign policy, which is where He Who Must Not Be Named is standing.
Say hello to Obama 2.0
Gingrich,Romney, will speed up the impending American collapse faster than Obama. Only Ron Paul will prevent it.
Neither Mitt or Newt are anything to write home about. When Mitt gets th’ nod, (& I’ll bet, barring some evil revelation, an entire bottle of “Maker’s Mark” that’s what’s gonna’ happen…) I’ll be holding my nose, with an emesis bag close by, while I cast my ballot in November. ‘Cuz Mitt’s better than o-bow-mao every single day & TWICE on Sundays!
Rick Santorum, of those that are left, is my Prefferance…& th’ guy that’ll get my Primary vote in February. But sadly I believe he’s ‘a day late’ in my “never so humble opinion”. LEO IN TSN…Man, I LOVE your idea, & I’ll do it…but I just don’t see it getting off th’ ground. However…as memory serves, I believe Mr. Reagan was in a similar spot around this time 1980…
Well said y’all and I agree with Doc the most, I think Santorum is the Reagan sleeper that will win out in the end. Seriously, we had three days to get Tom Morrisey in a year ago and we witnessed a miracle from God when he won. I still support him and will take on all negatives who say he should be anywhere else. Same goes for Rick Santorum, somehow he will get on all the ballots and the grassfire we are fanning will win out in the end. Even if I am wrong I believe our new 2012 President of the United States of America will have a huge RED -R after his name.
