Potentially great news for AZ conservatives
Here’s something to brighten your day! Russell Pearce’s name appears as a senate candidate in the newly configured Legislative District 25. He filed with the Arizona Secretary of State’s office earlier in the week, keeping his options open as he makes a final decison.
The new district boundaries place Pearce, the former Senate President, in the same district as iffy-Republican Sen. Rich Crandall, a decidedly lackluster legislator.
Dedicated career public servant Russell Pearce, was removed from his senate seat after a November special election — which many mistook for an internal party primary – but allowing Democrats and registered Independents to participate. Radical open border proponents recruited candidate Jerry Lewis to mount a challenge to Pearce. Watch this startling video to see Jerry Lewis celebrating with Democrats. Lewis’ lengthy list of Democrat supporters and donors provided a stunning revelation as to the con that was perpetrated within the district. Among the devoted Jerry Lewis supporters were onetime Democrat gubernatorial candidate Eddie Basha, Roman Ulman (Executive Director of AFSCME AZ Union), former Democrat Phoenix Mayor Paul Johnson, and lawyer/Arizona Regent Ernest Calderon, among others. Not a single one resided in the old District 18.
Count on Jerry Lewis to be a short-termer, having now been reapportioned into an adjacent district. Those Democrats and open borders supporters didn’t work for him as much as they worked against conservative stalwart Pearce. As useful idiots go, Lewis has served his purpose. His supporters have moved on.
Much to the distress of liberals, Pearce was recently elected First Vice Chair of the Arizona Republican Party winning by nearly 230 votes. In a stunning repudiation of the single district manipulation, ballots were cast by an assemblage of elected state committeemen representing districts statewide.
Russell Pearce was gracious in accepting the cheers and standing ovation.
I look forward to seeing Russell Pearce back in full force again. We so desperately need him and other good, strong conservative patriots to keep our state out of the dirty hands of the progressives with their pro open borders/illegal aliens agenda.
No clearer contrast between the ideologies within the Republican party can be made. Crandall represents everything that is wrong with the state; self dealing, crony capitalism etc.
Dear Randy “Open Borders” Parraz,
Pay attention, you simply can’t keep a good man down.
My contribution to Pearce’s AZ Senate campaign is already on its way.
Great idea, TPP! I live in Tucson, but his votes represented me and my family very well. We tend to forget that each state legislator, just as each member of congress, regardless of the state they represent, impacts all us with each vote they cast. We do not live in a vacuum.
I sincerely hope Sen. Pearce decides in favor of running. He is a remarkable man, who loves this country and our Constitution and believes in the rule of law.
As soon as Sen. Pearce decides on his future plans, he can count on my support as well. We’ve all just wintnessed how the left is out for conservatives’ jugular with Pearce’s recall. The Democrat-favoring legislative and congressional lines drawn by the so-called Independent Redistricing Commission tells the whole story. They want to take down anyone who doesn’t fall into their left leaning camp.
Whenever he decides to run and whatever office he decides to run for,Russell Pearce will have my my unqualified support.
I call on the Republican super-majority state legislature to honor the contribution and sacrifice Russell Pearce has given to Arizona and pass immediately the two bills coming up dealing with schools, hospitals, and illegal immigrants. These two bills failed by vote in March 2011. I am specifically addressing the NINE REPUBLICAN SENATORS who bent, bowed, and sucked the Commerce of Commerce demands by voting no last year. These nine senators are: Nancy Barto, Rich Crandall, Adam Driggs, Linda Gray, John McComish, John Nelson, Michele Reagan, Steve Pierce, and Steve Yarbrough.
God Bless America and Senator Pearce!
Just In From Senator Russell Pearce:
Once again just as in 2010 when Bennett agreed with Obama that illegals weren’t voting when we proved they were, Mr. Bennett is wrong here too and I haven’t filed for office”
I have made no final decision about running (YET). I am having a great time with my own radio show every Monday night at 7pm to 8pm on 1100am radio. I love working with Conservatives across this great state and across America. I have tons of folks encouraging me to run for office and I am grateful for their support. I certainly will stay very engaged in the issues facing this great nation, and running for office is one of those options.
I, like you love this Republic and I am deeply concerned in the failure of our elected officials (especially in Washington) to reduce spending, eliminate the deficit, eliminate or reduce entitlement programs, eliminate all agencies not allowed or provided for in the Constitution, Secure our borders and enforce our laws, stop the frivolous law suits, promote free market principles and get government out of the business of regulating private business, lower our taxes and bring back moral and limited government, protection of the unborn, protection of one’s private property rights. We know we have much to fix, and it is never too late to start fixing those problems.
However, I did not file anything new, in reality. While down there for filing my Financial Disclosure as required by law, it was suggested that I need to change the cycle to 2012 and close out the 2008 campaign that was still open. It is the same Pearce for Arizona, I already had open and I updated as suggested.
The Principles of Limited Government is Central to Freedom and Our Political System.
INDEPENDENCE CAME AT A PRICE: WE MUST BE VIGILANT IN THE DEFENSE OF LIBERTY AND THIS REPUBLIC. IF NOT US, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
“A primary object … should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing … than … communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the county?” George Washington
“Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people” – John Adams
“We’ve gone astray from first principles. We’ve lost sight of the rule that individual freedom and ingenuity are at the very core of everything that we’ve accomplished. Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” – Ronald Reagan
The Declaration of Independence is the declaratory charter of our rights, and the rights of man.” –Thomas Jefferson
I’m a great Russell Pearce supporter. He makes me feel pride in my state and country as few others have. But let’s get real. You can’t have it both ways. Either he reopened his campaign for 2012 in the new district 25 or he didn’t. It sure looks like he did and I sincerely wish him well in all he does. But get with the program. This is not the time to be coy. When you file, it gets noticed.
I have heard the only reason Russell Pearce is not running for US Senate is because he loves his family and they would prefer he stay in Arizona. However, should we elect a Republican President this fall — I truly believe it is critical Sen. Pearce be appointed Secretary of Homeland Security. I believe his family will realize this great man is a true American patriot. The United States desperately needs his expertise. They will understand his dedication and love of country is needed to ensure our survival as a free nation.
DHS for sure or maybe USAG.
Sorry pal. An Attorney General needs to fulfill the requirement of being an attorney. (Get it? ATTORNEY General?) Russell Pearce is a great guy, but he doesn’t have the necessary law degree which is a basic requirement for the job.
Don’t you think it’s likely that most, if not all, of the US congressmen and senators love their families? That’s the driving force behind their service. They want to work to keep liberty alive for their children and grandchildren. The best way to serve is as was originally intended, not to make a career out of public service. Our DC delegation do come home frequently, you know. As an example, Trent Franks has young twins, who he loves dearly. His wife and children see him often.
