During a Sunday appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation” our guy John McCain urged the appointment of Bill Clinton to intervene in the Mideast turmoil — as Israel attempts to defend itself against militant Palestinian attacks, while aerial fighting continues between Israel and Hamas-led Gaza.
McCain said, “The United States should obviously be as heavily influential as they can,” adding that the best way to do that is to have someone like [Bill] Clinton, “a person of enormous prestige and influence,” negotiate peace there.
John McCain, who has a history of problems with Mideast facts, (as evidenced by examples here (short video), here, here and here) and Hillary Clinton have long been close associates.

Ummmmmmmm, lets see Bill browbeated the Israeli’s to give in to Arafat in the 90′s. And what did Arafat do? As soon as he got his way he said “NO DEAL.” And this is what we want to see again? Telling the Israeli’s to stop and give in again, I think not. But then how many ways can McDumb be Dumb?
Maybe Hillary wants Slick Willy out of town and McCain is only to happy to oblige?
Clinton “enormous prestige” – oh you mean the man who raped women, lied under oath, dis-barred and almost impeached – that guy. Gee Johnny, you also told us Obama was a nice guy and could be trusted, how is that working out with Benghazi???? What a tool!
Same guy, Kathy. One fact is wrong however. On December 19, 1998, Bill Clinton WAS impeached was by the House of Representatives on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
John McCain has always colluded with the left. What’s the difference now? He and Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton and the like have long partnered on legislation aimed at causing harm to conservative principles.
