Morning and evening!  It doesn’t get much better than this!

Local stations can’t seem to find a place for him, but J.D. Hayworth continues to be invited to guest host in cities far larger than Phoenix.

For example, tonight (Thurs.) and tomorrow (Fri.) night, he can be heard on WPHT, Philadelphia from 8:00 -11:00 p.m., Arizona time.

He’ll also be back on WPHT, Saturday night from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., AZ time.

Listen Live HERE.

But the big news involves the “Big Apple!”

Listen to JD tomorrow — Friday morning – from 8:00 -10:00 a.m., AZ time on the venerable WOR, New York — the #1 Ranked Radio Market in the nation!!

Listen Live HERE.

He is a better radio show host than Congressman and hopefully will stay with it and find success again, but it won’t be in NY City.

For the Republican’s in Arizona to stay relevant they simply have to get out in front and do something to really drive home their words about “small government”. Arizona, and Maricopa County has become the poster child of Massive government duplication with city, county, state agencies – each with their own overhead. Whether it is the school system, the library system, or the towns within towns, these are examples of duplication and waste.

Phoenix/Maricopa County should have a combined city/county Metro government and ELIMINATE massive government waste. We don’t need to blame Washington while doing nothing at home. Arizona needs to become an example of what we preach and lead the country in something besides stumbling, bumbling governors and senators who feel entitled to their offices and tax payer paid perks!

Wow! What’s bugging you? Up too early in the morning to think clearly…or just a ticked off leftie, showing your stripes?

Whenever I see these notices of JD hosting a talk radio program, I tune in and listen as I work at my desk. He’s knowledgeable and entertaining and always has his facts. There is no one on the air in Arizona who can hold a candle to JD Hayworth. From your tone, I gather you’re a fan of McCain toadies Broomhead and the not-so-Young, Barry? Give me a break!!!

  2. Seen It All says:

I beg to differ with you, Westnash…or should it be Westbash? JD Hayworth was my congressman, and he was on top of the issues and responsive to his constituents as few have been. Did you prefer liberals Karan English, whom JD defeated? How about ineffective leftist twerp Harry Mitchell who followed him after redistricting placed JD in the People’s Republic of Tempe?

Thanks to the nearly $30 million a worried John McCain poured into the last senate race and foolish tea party support for Jimmie Lee Deakin (who many believe was a McCohort to siphon votes from JD), Hayworth was unable to maintain the statistical dead heat momentum with which he began the 2010 senate race. McNasty, who is not opposed to lying when it benefits him, pulled out all stops.

I don’t know if you were represented by JD Hayworth, but I was. He was superior to those he preceded and those who came after him, and his intellect and decency beats them ALL.

  3. Hometown Guy says:

Just curious. How do you envision combining the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County governments? They have very different scopes of duty and exactly which jobs would you eliminate? Would you have the Phoenix police under another liberal mayor and overpaid city manager, run the massive network of county jails for which they have no expertise? Are you aware that the Sheriff is a constitutionally mandated officer, whose power actually supercedes all police agencies? Would you eliminate mayor Greg Stanton’s continuation of his predecessor’s (Phil Gordon) sanctuary city polices or keep them intact. Would you authorize another $78,000 pay raise for city manager David Cavazos (as the council did earlier this month) to compensate him for his new duties? Would you eliminate the Superior Courts (handling felonies) and replace them with city courts (handling misdemeanors), whose purviews are quite different?

    • MacBeth says:

Simple answer. The city of Phoenix is run by the unions. Maricopa County is not. Why do you think the low turnout in city elections always results in Democrat mayors while the county overwhelmingly elects Republicans? The unions representing firefighters, police and teachers get the vote out. The are adept at scaring voters into thinking services will be cut back without giving them raises and that schools will be laying off teachers. All bogus claims, but they work. Get a clue and watch as the next series of city scare tactics coincide with another election. If the city of Phoenix is so broke, why are they doling out mega raises to employees? They claim its how they “retain” workers. In this economy, those employees should be glad to still have a job!

As to J.D. Hayworth: He was my favorite when he was on the air here, and I listen to him whenever I see the announcements on SRAZ.. He’s still the best!

      • Westnash says:

Unfortunately the Republicans are no better, or not much better, when it is time to cut out useless programs and people. Even worse you have some Republicans who have such poor communication skills they come across as so extreme they help elect the liberals.

The next thing which will happen is you will have a liberal Governor Gabby Giffords elected because no Republican that can win will be willing to take her on. Exactly like electing the extreme Sinema who belongs in San Francisco instead of representing Arizona in Washington.

    • Westnash says:

The same way many other cities have done so. Not easy for certain but…..

How many people on this site contacted each city councilman about the total rip off of the people in giving the City Manager ANY raise, much less a huge raise? Very few I bet.

  4. Westnash says:

Not bashing at all. His time came and went. JD will never cut government (including defense waste) like it has to be cut.

I am not a McCain person at all. I just dont believe that after the last election JD can be elected again. Newt Gingrich was the most qualified Republican but, like JD, was a blowhard and turned too many people off.

  5. CD9 says:

Newt sufffered under the allusion he could run a clean campaign. Mitt ran a filthy dirty campaign against Newt, when time came to take out BHO, he too put his tail between his legs like McPieceofManure and lost. But then McJerk was so intrenched in Mitts campaign you could not tell them apart.

16 Tea Parties endorsed JD. If you look at the last Senate race, Clair was supported by the same people, mostly Losertairans, and we see how they elected Kyrsten Sinema, Ron Barber, and Ann Kirkpatrick.
