McCain, Flake undercut US workers in massive job giveaway

AZ Senators aid Democrats while deceiving American citizens

The harsh realities of the amnesty bill being championed by the deceptive “Gang of 8” include importation of 1 million workers a year, who will increase the inflow of foreign workers in the U.S., according to government data and news reports.

John McCain, Jeff Flake and Marco Rubio along with their left-leaning senate cohorts, have carefully avoided the term “amnesty” as they work to undermine 23 million unemployed or underemployed American citizens.

The 1 million inflow would provide almost one foreign worker for every four Americans who turn 18 — a  rate high enough to fill up all the extra non-farm jobs created during the last six months, according to this disturbing, 3-page report in the Daily Caller.

Additionally, the 1 million imported workers would include at least 350,000 people capable of competing for middle-class skilled jobs sought by the 1.8 million Americans who graduate from universities each year. Only about 10 percent of the workers would be farm laborers.

The takeaway from this excellent article is summed up here: Inflow of workers is good for the Democrat Party’s political clout, because it increases unemployment, reduces wages and boosts dependence on government aid. But it creates a problem for Republicans, partly because low unemployment and high wages encourage people to get married, have kids and vote GOP.

Under the political scheme being drafted in secret by the coalition of amnesty hawks, companies would bring in many low-wage workers. In exchange, the workers would be allowed to become citizens and vote from 2026 onward, likely for Democrat candidates. No wonder it is backed by Democrat leadership, including Barack Obama, and many in the establishment, leftwing media.

Nationwide public outrage at the 2007 amnesty sham called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” and  led by McCain, Kyl and liberal icon Ted Kennedy resulted in the shut-down of the congressional switchboard, jammed fax lines and over-filled email boxes. It worked then. It’s past time for Americans to express their anger again. In the intervening years Kennedy has died and Kyl retired, but Jeff Flake, a longtime amnesty proponent, is now toadying as a willing accomplice, although he had a temporary politically expedient reversal as a duplicitous candidate.

Give McCain and Flake a call.  Since we pay their salaries, they’ll be happy to hear from us. But first read all 3 illuminating pages of the Daily Caller report.  Knowledge is power.

Contact info is just a click away: Jeff Flake and John McCain. Check the bottom of their pages for additional contact information. Do it now!  They intend to fast-track this amnesty monster when returning from Easter break on Monday.

Fortunately, some Republicans in the Senate are now starting to come down on McCain and Flake and their Democrat cohorts regarding their secret amnesty negotiations:

“Grassley, Senate Judiciary Conservatives to Gang of 8 GOP: ‘Time for Transparency Has Come’”

    “by Matthew Boyle
    5 Apr 2013″

“Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), ranking GOP member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and three of his fellow conservative committee colleagues are demanding the Republican members of the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” take their immigration reform negotiations out of the shadows so all GOP members of the Senate, and the American people, can see what they are doing.”

“In addition to the immediate demand for transparency, the Judiciary Committee conservatives are demanding the “Gang of Eight” Republicans force multiple hearings on any immigration reform legislation their group develops.”

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/04/05/Grassley-Senate-Judiciary-conservatives-to-Gang-of-8-GOP-The-Time-For-Transparency-Has-Come

Dems do not want hearings on this issue. They believe that silence is golden!

  2. State Committeeman says:

The question to ask is did you vote for these Arizona con artists? If you did, either you are not keeping up on the news or you are just plain foolish. They both lied to get elected. So, for that matter, did Jon Kyl, who got a load of Democrat and Republican sheriffs to stand in support of him on the Arizona border. McCain did the same with Sheriff Babeu who idiotically pledged, “Senator, You‘re one of us,” when McCain claimed to want to “Complete the danged fence.” Of ocurse, there wasn’t much of a fence to “complete.”

Flake was strongly supported by Kyl and McCain because they knew he would join the other Democrats in supporting this outrageous action against America and American citizens. When do we get smart? Will it be when the United States is a Third World Nation and your kids and grandkids are living in poverty in a Spanish speaking country? Get a clue.

  3. Dennis O'Brien says:

American citizens had better start hammering these traitors by phone and email. We have to stop this conspiracy with Obama’s plan to decimate the USA before it’s too late. Our future depends on it. This is not merely politics or differing views. It’s our survival.
I’ve called and emailed. Have you?

  4. Teller Of Truth says:

What a joke! I just received the AZGOP News Update from the Republican state Chairman. They have a spot for donations to the party and the following tips. But nothing, zip, nada — not a single word about this McFlake plan to undercut not only the Republican Party but our nation’s future and our already deeply indebted children’s ability to earn a livelihood.
Here’s what the focus is on:
AZ Precinct-Level Analysis: Republicans More Effective Than Democrats As Voters
    Election Procedures Manual Update
Did your 2012 Vote Get Counted?
File Taxes, Help the AZGOP (they want us to check a donation box on our taxes!)

There is also an invitation to an unaffordable gala that is oddly being proclaimed as a “Salute to the Legislature” but clearly excludes the Precinct Committeemen who have always been part of the event. The table prices are astronomical and none are advertised for individuals or couples. It’s clear to me this is aimed at corporate and lobbyist donors.
So much for the efforts my wife and I have expended on behalf of the party and GOP candidates over the years. They won’t be replicated. We’re moving on to other activities.

This is the interview Chairman Graham gave to channel 12 it cover immigration even with Bresnik? I think that is his name, trying to make the Republican Party look very bad.

    • eubykdisop says:

Well, Suzanne, the AZ Republican Party looks bad to Conservatives when it appoints Heywood as Executive Director and Gretchen Conger Martinez as Chief of Staff in the midst of the illegal immigration battle. It doesn’t take a Liberal newscaster to make that look bad to Conservatives!

  5. Ellsworth says:

    Euby,
How right you are about Chad Heywood! He not only worked for Flake, but just happens to be his brother-in-law! We are being screwed at every turn. I had hoped for better, but was fooled again.

For even more fun and games at our expense, the White House and Dept. of Homeland Security’s lies regarding the declining numbers of illegals entering the US are exposed here:
Watch this shocking newsclip through to the end.

    • eubykdisop says:

      Hi, Ellsworth! :-)

You are the second poster in this blog to state that Heywood is Flake’s brother-in-law. I didn’t say it because I couldn’t find objective confirmation of it on the internet, but that isn’t surprising! Thanks for sharing that from your personal knowledge database! And thanks too for the video!

      • Ellsworth says:

        You’re welcome.
I’ve found this site to be a reliably conservative and trustworthy one.
I know the East Valley, having spent my life here. It’s uniqueness is long gone, but many of the old time families are still connected, through friendship and/or blood. Flake is aptly named. From behind the scenes, he ran Kevin Gibbons, another brother-in-law and an immigration lawyer against Russell Pearce. Then state Rep. Pearce was victorious and won a senate seat by a 3 to 1 margin (as I recall). As you know, there were even greater forces behind eventually taking Pearce out and replacing him with a former church bishop and stake president. The LDS church, like the Catholics, is vested in encouraging illegal entries to increase membership. Major recruitment is centered on Hispanics. more members = More money as well as more mind control.

      • eubykdisop says:

Good stuff, Ellsworth! There’s much more in people’s memory banks than there is on the internet!

Yeah, “immigrants” are the fasting growing segment of the LDS Church in the U. S. and the LDS Church has, for a long time now, been recruiting South Americans away from the Catholic Church by pitching prosperity. It’s sort of “the battle for the peeps”, LOL! Why do you think it is that a Cardinal from South America was chosen to be Pope! ;-)

  6. SuzanneC says:

I work at Republican headquarters and I have just spoke to Chad Heywood. He is in no way related to Jeff Flake. His family is in no way related, in fact he went as far as to say possibly his GreatGrandFather in his early years of the Mormon faith had a few wives that might or possibly could be related but other than that no, no, no relationship, (that was a joke by Chad). Please I love this site, I am here two and three times daily, this site is my go to site for facts, but you are wrong about the relationship issue.

    • eubykdisop says:

How about the other, confirmed facts, SuzanneC?

Did not Graham make Heywood Executive Director?

Was not Heywood Director of Outreach for the Office of Congressman Jeff Flake?

Did not, in fact, Heywood write this comment and then apologize for it:

“DUDE, you have no clue how many older ladies just mailed Kirk Adams their panties … mail box was full today.”

Are all of the above not indisputable facts? Yes or no?

      • SuzanneC says:

All of that is true Euby. But do not repeat what is not ok, that was all I said. I am n taking up for past employment, but a lie is still a lie.

      • eubykdisop says:

I understand what you are saying, Suzanne, and I see that you are in an awkward position. From my perspective, the brother-in-law thing isn’t critically important because the fact that Heywood was on the staff of Jeff Flake, when Flake was a Congressman, is the primary issue with regard to immigration. The point being that Graham has stacked the deck in Arizona in favor of illegal alien amnesty by appointing both Heywood and Gretchen Conger Martinez. Graham couldn’t have given more of an immediate slap in the face to Arizona Conservative Republicans!

        A pox on Graham! :-(

    • Villanova says:

      Suzanne:
There is a vast difference between affinity and consanguinity in relationships. Affinity is a relationship by virtue of marriage, such as an aunt or uncle married into the family. This includes in-laws. Consanguinity indicates a blood relationship. Chad Heywood is technically correct in saying he is not related to Jeff Flake, since the relationship between them in not consanguine.

      • SuzanneC says:

Here is Chairman Graham’s Interview, and no slap in anybody’s face.

        http://bcove.me/7o3xpwc4

Euby, yes and no I am in the middle on much, but I will not pass on half truths, nor will I accuse you or anybody else of anything till I get the entire truth. I still enjoy your posts. We have so many in this party of standing in a circle shooting, still coming from the losing team.

      • eubykdisop says:

Suzanne, no matter what you post it does NOT change the objective and irrefutable facts:

1 – Graham appointed Heywood, who was Director of Outreach for Congressman Jeff Flake’s office, Executive Director of the Arizona Republican Party.

2 – Jeff Flake authored, along with Democrat Congressman Luis Gutierrez of Chicago, the STRIVE Act of 2007 which included in it, verbatim, the DREAM Act.

3 – As if that in and of itself were not bad enough, Graham then appointed Gretchen Conger Martinez as Chief of Staff of the Arizona Republican Party after she had been Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

4 – The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed on to the lawsuit AGAINST SB 1070 and opposed anti-illegal immigration legislation in the Arizona State Legislature.

Now, Suzanne, we can go around about this just as many times as you would like but every time that you come back with another “yes, but…” I will restate the objective and irrefutable facts.

Care to dance one more time, Suzanne? I can dance all day and dance all night!

    • Night Owl says:

I suspect Heywood’s glib/joking explanation about the great grandfather is pure BS to get you off track. Villanova got the relationship definitions exactly right. The two men are not technically related because there is no bloodline. They can still be “related” through marriage.

      • Delilah says:

No, Heywood is a very nice person, and believe me, I had more facebook fights with him while he worked for Flake. But when he got to the Republican Headquarters and we met, he told me he is very loyal to who he works for. He has not disappointed me in anyway. Of course there are thing we do not discuss, lol. But until I met him, I really disliked him and no he has not tried to schmooze me.

      • eubykdisop says:

It’s nice, Delilah, that Heywood told you he is very loyal to who he works for but that means that if Graham backs the Flake/Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry pro-illegal immigration agenda, that Heywood would be loyal to that!

There can be no question that it shows EXTREMELY poor judgment and EXTERMELY poor leadership on the part of Graham that he appointed, to the highest positions in the Arizona Republican Party, not one but TWO individuals from organizations which have supported illegal aliens, illegal immigration and illegal alien amnesty!

There is obviously a premeditated agenda there and it is obvious what is coming down the pike; the big sellout! You don’t load up the top echelons of the Arizona Republican Party with people from pro-illegal immigration organizations unless you intend to push a pro-illegal immigration agenda! Why else, with all of the qualified Republicans in the state of Arizona, would you choose people with that kind of background? No matter what Graham says, he isn’t fooling anyone. His actions speak louder than his words!

    • Westnash says:

Suzanne, if SRAZ is your go to site for facts….you should fact check what you see posted by Euby. His ideas will ensure that the Democrats take and keep Arizona.

Also, what can we do to make the point to the networks that have McCain on every weekend know that he does not represent the views of a large number of Arizonan’s? Could the Arizona Republican Party have another person presented to the press (not a bumbler like Jan, but someone articulate, untainted, and conservative in the historical fashion).

        “Westnash says:

LaPierre’s interview on Meet the Press today just shows a lack of political awareness on his part. Every hunting shotgun has a limit on shells…there is no place for large clips and no place for Gun Shows to sell on terms different than a retail gun shop.”

        “Westnash says:
        April 1, 2013 at 1:32 pm
What is wrong with a better background check for guns? I have guns and have no problem with it. The Black Helicopter crowd may not like it but there is nothing unconstitutional about it.”

On spending the money of Arizona taxpayers to promote the objectives of the Reconquista movement:

        “Westnash says:
        March 12, 2013 at 8:36 am
I would be in favor of Arizona requiring Spanish (for legal students of course).”

So if you want to hear where a genuine Liberal Obama DEMOCRAT is coming from, Westnash is your “got to” guy, LOL!

      • eubykdisop says:

And all of that goes along with being “concerned” about… BLAMING Marxism!

        “Westnash says:
        January 11, 2013 at 3:41 am
Obviously, Euby, it is easy for you to blame Marxism, but impossible to offer a solution for the Arizona Republicans.”

Looks like you have found a “solution” for the Arizona Republicans, oh great defender of Marxism!

  7. East Valley Voter says:

Chad Heywood was also Jeff Flake’s well paid Outreach And Coalitions Director during Flake’s time in the House of Representatives. The well named “Sunlight Foundation” shines the bright light of sunlight on this. And who is Timothy Heywood? That’s not the usual spelling of the last name, so it stands out.

    http://staffers.sunlightfoundation.com/member/F000444

  8. eubykdisop says:

Graham appointed Gretchen Conger Martinez as Chief of Staff of the Arizona Republican Party. Martinez was Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“Arizona immigration bills bad for business”

    “by Glenn Hamer
President and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry”

“Yes, the Chamber is party to a lawsuit, currently before the U.S. Supreme Court, over the state’s employer sanctions law. We did not believe it was right to treat Arizona employers differently than employers in 49 other states and to subject them to license suspension or revocation based on a federal database.”

“The state Senate right now is considering a host of immigration bills. One bill attempts to re-interpret the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution, which grants birthright citizenship. Another would require hospitals to determine patients’ citizenship status during the admission process. And yet another contains a number of new immigration-related measures, affecting everything from vehicle registration to public housing to employee verification to schools.”

“The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry opposes all of these measures.”

    http://tucsoncitizen.com/tc-guest-blog/2011/03/17/arizona-immigration-bills-bad-for-business/

So Graham appointed Flake’s former Director of Outreach as Executive Director of the Arizona Republican Party. He appointed as Chief of Staff the former Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry which signed on against SB 1070 and which actively opposed a plethora of other pieces of Arizona anti-illegal immigration legislation.

Thanks, Graham! I’m waiting to see what position you are going to come up with for Randy Parraz!

OT: In a recent article, “Obama salivating over $19.4 trillion in U.S. savings”, on March 31, 2013, “Seeing Red AZ” blew the whistle on a Democrat plan for the government to seize retirement savings accounts, like IRA’s and 401(k)’s, in the same manner in which Cyprus seized bank accounts. Now we have this from B. Hussein Obama:

“Obama Budget to Cap Retirement Accounts at $3 Million”

    “by Tony Lee
    5 Apr 2013″

“The budget President Barack Obama will submit on April 10 will contain a proposal that would prohibit individuals from accumulating more than $3 million in Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and tax-preferred retirement accounts.”

“According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals “to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving.”

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/04/05/Obama-Budget-to-Target-Success-by-Capping-Retirement-Accounts-at-3-Million

So, what’s the big deal? The “big deal” is the principle and the precedent which would be established!

Look at what the White House said: “…substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving.” Now the question is, what does B. Hussein Obama think is a “reasonable level” of retirement saving… for YOU?

Please watch the video, it should leave no doubt in your minds how the Az GOP feels about Immigration.

    • eubykdisop says:

I watched the video and it does leave doubt in my mind how the AZ GOP feels about illegal immigration and illegal immigrants, Suzanne. Why is that?

It’s because on the one hand we have words and on the other hand we have actions and in this case the two are incongruent.
In what way are they incongruent?

Jeff Flake has long been a promoter of amnesty for illegal aliens, as documented in his STRIVE Act of 2007, which included in it, verbatim, the DREAM Act.

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry opposed SB 1070 and a plethora of other anti-illegal immigration bills brought up in the state legislature.

Graham chose Heywood as Executive Director when Heywood was Director of Outreach for the Office of Congressman Jeff Flake and he chose Gretchen Conger Martinez as Chief of Staff when she was Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Now, out of all of the possible Republicans who Graham could have chosen, how is it that he chose not one but two people for the highest positions both of whom came from pro-illegal immigrant, pro-illegal immigration and pro-illegal alien amnesty entities? Do you really expect us to believe that Heywood and Martinez are going to suddenly go in the opposite direction from their previous employers? Is that reasonable for us to believe? No, that is not reasonable for us to believe at all.

Furthermore, why did not Graham select people for those positions who have a track record of opposing illegal immigration and illegal alien amnesty? Are there no Republicans in the state of Arizona who could do those jobs who have such a track record?

  13. Delilah says:

I think Robert Graham did an excellent job of telling all that the Republican Party is against amnesty. I also think Robert did an excellent job of not punching Bresnik right in the nose for his nasty interruptions trying to make the Republican Party and all of our elected people look like we hate immigrants.

He did an excellent job of “telling”. The only problem is that he put amnesty promoter Jeff Flake’s former Director of Outreach in as Executive Director and the former Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry in as Chief of Staff!

Flake authored, along with Chicago Democrat Congressman Luis Gutierrez, the STRIVE Act of 2007 which contained within it, verbatim, the DREAM Act.

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially signed on to the lawsuit opposing SB 1070 and opposed anti-illegal immigration measures in the Arizona State Legislature.

Now, the newscaster may have been trying to make it look like we hate immigrants but, with his appointments, Graham is making it look like we love folks in the Republican Party who played key roles in entities which have opposed anti-illegal immigration legislation and supported amnesty for illegal aliens!

Tell me that out of ALL of the Republicans in the state of Arizona who could have filled those positions that it is pure coincidence that Graham chose not one but TWO who are intimately associated with Liberal DEMOCRAT positions regarding illegal immigration, illegal immigrants and amnesty!
