Opportunism not playing well for Jeff Flake

Even when Flake inadvertently votes the right way, he backtracks when confronted

The latest Public Policy Polling survey does not bode well for Arizona’s junior senator Jeff Flake. In fact, after just 3 months in office Flake has already become one of the most unpopular senators in the country. We’d understand if Flake lost favor over his stance on granting amnesty to the at least 25 million illegal aliens who have invaded our country, but that’s not the reason for his decline.

It’s no secret where Seeing Red AZ stands on Jeff Flake. We strongly supported conservative businessman Wil Cardon in his bid for the senate seat, open through Jon Kyl’s retirement. Our previous regard for Club for Growth fell to zero after the group ran vicious back-to-back, distortive, independent expenditure campaign ads intentionally misrepresenting Cardon.

Flake has done nothing to earn the trust of conservatives. From laughingly breaking his term limits pledge — declaring “I lied” — or using the flimsiest excuse to cravenly avoid casting a responsible vote opposing “cap-and-tax,” the junk science-based, massive national energy tax, to doing a pre-senate race waffle on his always liberal stance on illegal immigration. Flake’s opportunistic moment, was so  “jarring” to the pro-open borders Periódico de la República de Arizona (Arizona Republic), it even editorialized the guy they idolized as a “statesman” had become a mere “politician.”

So imagine our plight as we find ourselves defending what we know to be his self-serving vote, parting company with mentor McCain on expanding background checks for gun purchases. For his vote, the República, which writes lengthy reports on bullying, again engages in name calling, this time calling Flake a “coward.”  We were rapidly thrust back to our senses when finger-to-the-wind Flake vacillated the day after his vote.  Flake flim-flamingly said he cast his nay vote because the language was “too broad.”  Constitutionally-based conservative convictions never entered the picture.

The raucous protestors outside his office, along with his “long time friend” Gabrielle Giffords and her hypocritical, carpetbagging husband Mark Kelly — who despite their friendship, have pledged they will support a senate challenger, have prompted Flake to now propose a “streamlined” version he hopes will win Congressional support.

In appeasing the gun control advocates demanding he apologize for failing to support Barack Obama’s prized legislation restricting firearms, the aptly named Flake alienates conservatives who believe in the relevance of the Second Amendment of the Constitution. He’s lucky he doesn’t face the Republican voters he needs until 2018.

The polling questions regarding Flake asked by the left-of-center — they call themselves “Democratic-leaning” — Public Policy Polling, run from page 3 through 7 of the 21 page report and can be viewed here. Their polling on the same topic also includes Alaska, Nevada, and Ohio.

Bravo, SRAZ! Thank you for putting the spotlight on our newest “Republican” U. S. Senator. He deserves the attention!

  2. EV PC says:

When Flake, who had the backing of both McCain and Kyl, barely won the match-up with Democrat Richard Carmona, it told the back story. Flake is distrusted by Republicans and he knows it. I’m a conservative and didn’t vote for him for several reasons. First, I don’t appreciate being screwed over by someone who claims to be a member of my own party. If I must take that abuse, I’d rather it was someone who didn’t try to con me. Second, Flake is younger than Carmona and could be in DC for decades, where election means entrenchment. Third I know Jeff Flake. He is vain, arrogant and doesn’t mind bending the truth when it benefits him. He worked behind the scenes to replace Russell Pearce. Like McCain. He forms alliances with liberals and calls it bi-partisanship. I call it disgusting.

    • eubykdisop says:

An excellent, cogent, well-articulated comment, EV PC!

    • CD 9 says:

Get the Independents out of our Primaries and we would never have a McStain or a McFlakey again. That is one of the reasons that has never changed even though the courts ruled we could stop them from voting in our primary. Without them the R.I.N.O.’S would never win.

      • State Committeeman says:

Best idea I’ve heard all day.
Thank ringleaders former Attorney General Grant Woods (RINO), former Phoenix Mayor Paul Johnson (Dem. now Ind.) and a bunch of “bi-partisan” loving RINOs, including the police union, PLEA., for bringing us this nightmare in 1997. It was Prop. 106. http://www.azsos.gov/election/1998/info/pubpamphlet/Prop106.html

But you appear to be confusing Prop. 121, the “Top Two” with what we are currently dealing with (Prop. 106), which allows registered Independents to request either a Republican or Democrat ballot and intrude on partisan primary elections. They can be as independent as they’d like in the General Election, but it’s up to the two parties to select their own strongest candidate to move forward to represent each party.

Prop 121 would have amended the Arizona Constitution to replace publicly funded, partisan primary elections with privately funded, open primary elections in which all candidates would appear on the one primary ballot and the two candidates receiving the most votes on that ballot would advance to the general election, irrespective of political party. It did NOT pass. It was a ballot proposition. Not sure what court ruling you’re referring to.

These are horses of two different colors.

  3. Westnash says:

OK who can run against him and WIN? The immigration issue is enough to defeat him if a candidate who is not tainted by scandal and can appeal to a good cross section of Arizonans.

    • eubykdisop says:

Being a Marxist, you are, by definition, anti-Conservative, Westnash! Let’s see how you describe a Conservative!

Do any readers here consider J. D. Hayworth to be a Conservative? Are there any J. D. Hayworth fans here? Let’s see what Westnash thinks of J. D.!

      “Westnash says:
      December 27, 2012 at 9:16 am
My experience is that when politicians become infected with hubris it usually catches them and JDH is a good example.”

      “Westnash says:
      December 21, 2012 at 8:24 am
JD will never cut government (including defense waste) like it has to be cut.”

      “Westnash says:
      December 27, 2012 at 3:55 am
Does it also mean that no factual points about J.D Hayworth that might not reflect well on his elevation to Mt. Rushmore can be mentioned?”

      “Westnash says:
      December 26, 2012 at 9:09 am
Maybe Seeing Red only wants to hear that JD is the next coming instead of the facts?”

There it is, Folks, the anti-Conservative, Marxist propaganda of Westnash!

Now you and Karl Marx have a nice day, Westy! :-)

  4. eubykdisop says:

What SRAZ readers need to know about Westnash is that, because he is a Marxist, no Conservative is, in his Marxist view, suited for any government position.

Here is what Westnash had to say about the late Conservative Judge Bork:

    “Westnash says:
    December 21, 2012 at 4:53 am
RIP. Those that followed him in confirmation hearings saw that it was better to say nothing and get confirmed instead of speaking from their heart and running into a buzz saw. Each of the three females on the court are more liberal than Bork was conservative, but they got there and Robert got Borked.”

So the message that Westnash carries to Conservatives, as a result of the Bork hearings, is that it is better for Conservatives to… say nothing!

If you could succeed in getting Conservatives to “say nothing”, B. Hussein Obama would probably invite you to the White House and pin a medal on you himself!

Now you and Marxist in Chief, B. Hussein Obama, have yourselves a nice Marxist day, Westy! :-)

  5. westnash says:

Euby seems to be coming unglued.

  6. Seeing Red AZ says:

On more than one occasion Seeing Red AZ has expressed weariness with the ongoing battles. They are distractions in what is intended to be a reasoned, adult comment section. Baiting, exchanging negative responses and name calling are even disallowed on playgrounds. We are unable to monitor this chronic child’s play 24/7.

The cutting and pasting of previous comments to score points is frustrating to all who are exposed to it and is driving away actual dialogue on the posted topic. The hurling of retorts is no better. Mature discussions keep the site interesting. Please observe basic good manners.

    • Dennis O'Brien says:

      Thank God! Reason prevails!
These two commenters appear intent on destroying this excellent conservative site. I’ve cut back my comments because their objective is psychoanalyzing and domination. Look at the comment section above for proof!

Limit them each to two comments per post, at most!!

      • eubykdisop says:

What destroys a Conservative blog, Dennis, is allowing Liberal trolls to spread their propaganda.

      • westnash says:

I agree with you Dennis. It should be about the thread.

      • eubykdisop says:

I disagree with Dennis. All conservatives in this blog should first and foremost be about ridding ourselves of the Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll, Westnash!

Have a nice day, Westy! :-)

    • eubykdisop says:

Excuse me, SRAZ, but above, Westnash asked who could run against Flake and win and asked what candidate isn’t tainted by a scandal. There’s nothing wrong with J. D. Hayworth to fill that bill BUT Westnash attacks J. D.!

Here are your own responses to Westnash in that regard, SRAZ:

      “Seeing Red AZ says:
      December 27, 2012 at 8:51 am
As to JD Hayworth, what you repeatedly refer to as “factual points” are in no way accurate. He is a decent and strong conservative who was vastly outspent by a very worried McCain, who saw a five-point polling spread and decided it was worth nearly $30 million to defend staying in Washington to engage in more aisle-crossing with Democrats. That obviously appeals to you. It does not reflect conservatives.”

      “Seeing Red AZ says:
      December 26, 2012 at 10:17 am
      Westnash,
Your “facts” are inaccurate, groundless accusations. They have no place on this site. And yes, we are fans of JD Hayworth and respect his background, intellect and conservative analysis of the news.”

So SRAZ can promote and defend J. D. in the face of slights and criticism by Westnash but eubykdisop cannot. Is that how it works, SRAZ?

    • eubykdisop says:

SRAZ: Even though you yourself have said of Westnash, “Your “facts” are inaccurate, groundless accusations. They have no place on this site”, you continue to permit Westnash to post here. When I challenge his Liberal propaganda, you object and want peace and harmony above defending Conservatives like J. D. and defending Conservative principles. Liberals like Westnash will permit no peace and harmony UNLESS their Liberal positions are surrendered to. When Conservatives surrender to Liberals like Westnash, there will be peace, but at what cost?

It would appear that you won’t be happy until either Westnash is free to promote Liberal propaganda in this blog with impunity or until I switch sides and take up the Liberal cause of Westnash.

Explain to me how giving a Liberal, posing as a Conservative, a platform in this blog constitutes being “Conservative”? After all, Westnash could post at “Daily Kos”. He has chosen to post here because he is a Liberal troll seeking to create dissension and spread Liberal propaganda in a “Conservative” blog.

    • eubykdisop says:

      SRAZ:

Here is the title of an article you wrote: “Obama’s Marxist redistribution plan is underway” (April 25, 2013). Here is what you wrote in that article:

“Redistribution has always been part of Obama’s Marxist mindset.”

Is it your contention that there can be a “Marxist” redistribution plan and that Obama has a “Marxist” mindset BUT that there are no PERSONS who are, in fact, Marxists? If that is the case, then who is promoting a Marxist redistribution plan, Conservatives?

Is it your belief that no Marxists exist? Is it your belief that no Marxist could post in your blog? Do you have some sort of internet Marxist repellant in place shielding this blog?

When I say that Westnash is a Marxist, that is not “name-calling”, it is proven fact. If you wish, I can prove it for you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, right in this thread.

    • eubykdisop says:

SRAZ: The prominent Conservative website, WND.com, recognizes the existence of left wing trolls, including professionals, and bans them!

“Decisive action against Obama’s left-wing ‘trolls'”

“Pajama bandits seek to stifle thought, discredit right”

      “11/25/2012, Jerome R. Corsi”

(Jerome R. Corsi, a Harvard Ph.D., is a WND senior staff reporter. He has authored many books, including No. 1 N.Y. Times best-sellers “The Obama Nation” and “Unfit for Command.”)

“Trolls appear to perform a “disinformation” function typical of counter-intelligence efforts by intelligence agencies to confuse political enemies and refute or deflect opposing political views that are less susceptible to refutation by more traditional methods of debate and argumentation.”

“Many of the trolls banned from participating in WND forums appear to have been operating on a professional level.”

“The consistency is in the support of leftist policies and positions taken by the Obama administration.”

“A person identified as “AMA” posted a comment on the website Above Top Secret that apparently offers insight into how professional trolls operate.”

“I was a paid Internet troll”

“For almost five years, I was a paid Internet troll. Yes, I admit.”

“The pay wasn’t very good, but since I was working from my apartment, I suppose it wasn’t bad, and I was able to do several other writing assignments on the side.”

      http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/leftist-trolls-in-ongoing-war-with-wnd/

What does Westnash do for a living? He has told us!

      “Westnash says:
      December 23, 2012 at 4:02 am
As someone who writes for a living, I can tell you that the editors likely saw the story and approved it.”

What is the policy of the Conservative website WND.com?

“WND will maintain an open posting policy on its forums, but will continue identifying and removing trolls who abuse the privilege.”

    • eubykdisop says:

      SRAZ:

If you are Conservative and if you wish this blog to be Conservative then you need to ban Westnash now. Why? This is why!

“Trolls operate on WND forums under various identities, often using the same IP address but with different usernames and email addresses.”

“Once the person is blacklisted, the WND moderators do not receive a complaint. Instead, the person quietly returns to post on WND forums in a different incarnation, perhaps using a different username, IP address or email.”

      http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/leftist-trolls-in-ongoing-war-with-wnd/

When a Liberal troll is banned, they DO NOT go away. That is part of their standard operating procedure. They simply “reincarnate” under a different user name, password, email address and, sometimes, IP address.

So what is needed is a policy and an ongoing process of weeding out Liberal trolls. If a Conservative website like WND.com does that then there is no reason why this Conservative blog should have any hesitation to follow suit and do the same thing… for the same reasons!

    • Ellsworth says:

I’ve come to the conclusion that these two are engaging in fake bickering with the expressed purpose of driving others away from this site. Their aim is to dominate each and every thread with their personal attacks which often have nothing to do with the post. Clearly it takes time and effort to research and write the posts. Yet the messages are being undermined and simply used as a vehicle to argue trivial minutiae. I like Dennis O’Brien’s suggestion of limiting them to two comments per thread.

      • eubykdisop says:

You’re wrong, Ellsworth. Furthermore, you DISGUST me!

Here we have in this blog Westnash, a consistently Liberal internet troll posting in a conservative blog and you, an alleged Conservative, stand by and do NOTHING! If you were REALLY a Conservative, you would have jumped in and together we could have driven Westnash out of here. Instead, the best you can do is blame a Conservative for taking action against a Liberal troll spreading Liberal propaganda.

Little wonder that Conservatives aren’t doing well politically! I see not one alleged Conservative in this blog, including those who run SRAZ, who will even stand up with words in a blog to turn back Liberal assaults. That kind of inaction and lack of courage and conviction will hand victory to Liberals on a silver platter!

Trivial? You want “trivial”? What you seem to want is a blog where people post things like, “Yeah, ain’t it awful!” instead of research based comments.

You seem to forget that I posted information in this blog about Obama’s plans to seize 401(k) and other retirement plans. SRAZ took the ball with that and did an article saying that it was one of the most important articles ever written in this blog. That wasn’t the first hat tip to me from SRAZ!

Go to sleep now, Ellsworth, and when you wake up, it will all be over. Through your inaction and complete lack of insight, Liberals will have taken over this country and you will no longer be burdened with having to think at all!

      • Westnash says:

I agree Ellsworth that it should always be about the thread.

      • eubykdisop says:

ROFL! Of course you want to limit things, Westnash, because that way your pattern of disseminating Marxist propaganda across time and across topics can remain hidden from view, LOL!

Now you and Karl Marx have a nice day, Westy! :-)

  7. Westnash says:

Finally! Cut n paste Euby has been taken taken to the woodshed…bravo SRAZ, and I am always ready to eliminate my replies to him….provided the personal attacks cease. His distortions of mine and other peoples positions are tiring.

Euby must be coming unglued as I never mentioned JDH in this or any recent comments to any threads.

    • eubykdisop says:

As always, you imply that Republicans are somehow lacking and you are at a loss to think of someone who could win against Flake. The obvious first choice is J. D. Hayworth BUT you attacked J. D. to the point where even SRAZ did not remain silent:

      “Seeing Red AZ says:

As regards “unglued”, what is becoming “unglued” is your is your game as a Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll, Westnash!

Now you and B. Hussein Obama have a real nice day, Westy!

  8. Westnash says:

Euby is now making demands to the site owner. Amazing. Just as amazing as calling me a liberal. Nothing is further from the truth. The Democrats love you, Euby!

    SRAZ:

If you are Conservative and if you wish this blog to be Conservative then you need to ban Westnash now. Why? This is why!

    • eubykdisop says:

ROFL! You have called for SRAZ to boot me countless times, Westnash, but to no avail, LOL! As regards being loved by Liberal Democrats, you are their pride and joy. Let’s review your positions, Westnash!

First, let’s look at how you have ceaselessly, across time, pushed the gun control agenda of Obama, Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly:

      “Westnash says:
      December 19, 2012 at 4:25 am
The Gun Show loophole is a joke that should be ended tomorrow. Gun Shows should either have the same regulations as every other business or not be allowed to sell guns. There is no need for clips that hold so many rounds (hunting shotguns have long been limited in capacity).”

      “Westnash says:
      December 20, 2012 at 1:32 pm
Anyone knows the best home defense weapon is a shotgun. It holds 5-8 shells. If you can’t stop or scare away someone with that you shouldn’t have a gun to begin with .”

      “Westnash says:
      December 21, 2012 at 1:59 pm
There is no good reason for the Gun Show exemption. Gun shows should have the exact requirements as a retail gun shop and if they can’t meet them they can’t sell. Gun Show operators like Fiesta Bowl promoters are making Millions while laughing at the public.”

“There is no good reason for high capacity magazines. And I say this as a gun owner since I was 5 years old! The NRA has done great work and training but because of money and the threat to use it in politics has become a negative.”

“We look like fools in Arizona for all the guns sold at gun shows that have shown up in Mexico. Made some rich though.”

“Unfortunately now Barry Obama, Chuck Schumer, and Diane Feinstein have outmaneuvered gun owners just like they have on taxes.”

      “Westnash says:
      December 21, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Many, many guns bought at gunshows made their way to Mexico and likely still do, nothing to do with the FNF debacle.”

      “Westnash says:
      December 23, 2012 at 4:14 am
I will say again the NRA missed a major opportunity by not getting out in front of the issue and sponsoring some legit curbs on large magazines and gun show sales that most Americans would agree with. Their proposal instead only grows government. Little Euby will soon want to arm the granny greeter at Wal Mart with a sniper’s rifle.”

      “Westnash says:
      December 26, 2012 at 4:24 am
As mentioned, any hunting shotgun has a limit on shells, imposed by the government. Doesn’t make it wrong. Large clips and the Gun Show exemptions should go. Gun Show owners have become rich, just like Fiesta Bowl promoter’s! Illegals love gun shows!”

      ““Westnash says:
      January 8, 2013 at 8:00 am
There will be some changes in gun regulations at some point in 2013 and the Republicans who only tow the NRA line of “no” will lose. Wouldn’t you rather outsmart your opponent than trying unsuccessfully in throwing up a wall, that is crumbling down around you.”

      “”Westnash says:
      April 1, 2013 at 1:32 pm
What is wrong with a better background check for guns? I have guns and have no problem with it. The Black Helicopter crowd may not like it but there is nothing unconstitutional about it.”

Now, is there any “Conservative” in this blog who wishes to step forward and make the case that this endless series of attacks by Westnash on 2nd Amendment rights is anything other than a protracted campaign by a Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll? If so, speak up and make your case. If not, then why is it that you are not all over this troll on an ongoing basis?

    • eubykdisop says:

Now, let’s examine your position on the national defense of The United States of America, Westnash!

Despite the fact that Obama has already planned debilitating cuts in defense spending, Wetnash would cut military spending by 10% across the board. While even Obama refused to cut military pay, Westnash goes beyond Obama in wanting to cut the pay of our men and women in uniform!

      “Westnash says:
      February 14, 2013 at 10:17 am
I would propose an immediate 10% cut in all military expenditures including salaries. All of us can get by on 9 out of 10…..the govt. can as well…it is nothing but would make a huge dent in the problem.”

First, what will be the impact of the cuts which Obama has already planned to put into effect?

“Rep. Rooney: Obama’s Military Cuts ‘Dangerous’”

“By Martin Gould and Kathleen Walter, Jan 2012″

“Obama announced some $480 billion cuts in military spending over four years on Thursday. It was a tacit acknowledgement that the United States will no longer have the means to fight wars on two fronts simultaneously.”

“United States national security is at risk from the hundreds of billions of defense cuts that President Barack Obama announced on Thursday, Republican House Armed Services Committee member Tom Rooney says.”

“We are getting into very dangerous waters,” Rooney, a former military prosecutor, told Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview.

“The cuts could even empower potential enemies such as Iran and even China into thinking that the U.S. is now terribly weakened, he added.”

“We always used to have the saying ‘Speak Softly but Carry a Big Stick’ and we’ve gone from that to – the president doesn’t like to hear this word, but – appeasement,” said the Florida congressman.”

Here is another assessment of the effects of Obama’s planned cuts in military spending:

“Panetta: Obama’s Cuts Create ‘Risks’ in Military’s ‘Capability to Respond’”

“By Edwin Mora, January 27, 2012″

“Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Thursday that the cuts in defense proposed by President Barack Obama will create “risks” in America’s “capability to respond” to threats.”

“Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, echoed Panetta’s assessment, while pointing out that when the administration’s cuts in defense are implemented there will be risk that the U.S. military will not be able to do as much as quickly as it can do now.”

Lastly, why has even Obama refused to cut military pay as Westnash would have us do?

“White House prepping for budget cuts, to shield military pay”

“By Laura MacInnis and Richard Cowan, Jul 31, 2012″

“The White House said on Tuesday it was starting to get ready for potentially painful year-end spending cuts, and was committed to shielding U.S. military pay from any government budget crunch.”

“The administration’s decision to exempt military personnel accounts from the automatic cuts was widely expected, and had been recommended by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and other top officials, despite its potential squeeze on other parts of the Pentagon budget.”

“This step was taken because the administration believes it is in the national interest to safeguard the resources necessary to safeguard the men and women serving to defend our nation and to maintain the force levels required for national security,” an administration official said.”

      http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/07/31/us-usa-obama-budget-idUSBRE86U1CS20120731

In the guise of supporting “smaller government”, Westnash would gut our military defense capabilities through inadequate funding. Couple that with the support for gun control by Westnash outlined in the previous post and we see a picture of a Marxist who would leave America and Americans without either a national defense or personal defense.

If there is a “Conservative” in this blog who thinks that the assaults by Westnash on both the 2nd Amendment and on funding for national defense are anything other than the Marxist propaganda of a Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll, let him speak up and make his case. If not, why are you not all over this troll on an ongoing basis?

    • eubykdisop says:

As Republicans fight to preserve our military in the face of the onslaught of Obama’s cuts in military spending, what does Westnash have to say on the subject?

      “Westnash says:

The more serious issue is the groups that build up and insert themselves around the military, raising money for one cause or another but basically trying to buy influence or become ‘military groupies”. Military spending is out of control and has a high waste content which these groups try to increase to their benefit. The Republican’s are making fools of themselves in the wailing against military spending cuts.”

“The proposed cuts are not even deep enough.”

Yet once again, we have Westnash asserting that “Republicans are making fools of themselves”! Spoken like a true Liberal DEMOCRAT, Westnash! In addition, Westnash asserts that the proposed cuts in military spending are “not even deep enough”!

But Marxist Westnash doesn’t stop there! He wants America to close MORE military bases BOTH here AND abroad:

      “Westnash says:
      December 29, 2012 at 4:28 am
Euby, with your vast experience in Defense matters you should be aware of the budget process. However, I would start with 10% across the board cut, freeze any increase and that includes pay. That get us a savings of about $100 billion annually and after the squealing is over, none of it would be missed. At the same time we would begin to close unneeded bases here and overseas and get rid of the duplication of efforts between services.”

First Westnash heavily pushes Obama’s gun control agenda. Then he wants to cut defense spending to unsafe levels. Next he tells us that Republicans are “making fools of themselves” in seeking to preserve our defense capabilities. Beyond that, Westnash would have us close even MORE military bases both in the U. S. AND overseas!

If there is a “Conservative” in this blog who thinks that Westnash is propagating anything other than pure Marxist propaganda, with the intent of destroying America, let him speak up and make his case. If not, then why are not the “Conservatives” in this blog all over this Marxist internet troll?

    • eubykdisop says:

Now, let’s examine the Marxist views of Westnash regarding American foreign policy!

Israel has long been a U. S. ally and the only real democracy in the Middle East. It is surrounded by Muslim nations. What does Westnash have to say about Israel?

      “Westnash says:
      December 27, 2012 at 3:26 pm
I agree, Unfortunately the law is that whatever USA gives to Israel they also have to give to Egypt and they must have a hard time coming up with ways to spend the money. Israel is now a middle class economy and our Aid to them should stop and with it the amount given to Egypt would also drastically decrease.”

“We are also wasting money here at home, many many times what is wasted in foreign AID. The enormous military budget probably wastes more money than has ever been imagined in our history. Our country is bankrupt because of this combination of waste.”

Westnash told a Marxist lie. There is no law which requires the U. S. to give to Egypt what it gives to Israel. It is Obama who has electively CHOSEN to give funds to Egypt and other Muslim nations.

Secondly, you will notice that Marxist Westnash can’t resist the opportunity to take another dig at the military budget!

Where do the Communists stand regarding Israel and it’s survival?

“SIXTY-FOUR COMMUNIST PARTIES OPPOSE ISRAELI THREAT AGAINST IRAN”

“In the mostly widely supported joint declaration for decades, 64 communist and worker’s parties across the world join forces to declare “We are totally opposed to any military action against Iran!”

“We the undersigned Communist and Workers Parties express our grave concerns and strong condemnation of the recent statements by the Israeli policy makers, about attacking Iran.”

Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism (PADS); Communist Party of Australia; Communist Party of Austria; National Liberation Front, Bahrain; Communist Party of Bangladesh; Communist Party of Belgium; Workers Party of Belgium; Communist Party of Brazil; Workers Party, Brazil; Communist Party of Britain; Communist Party of Canada; Communist Party of Catalonia; Communist Party of Chile (Chile); Communist Party of Columbia; Socialist Workers Party of Croatia; . AKEL (Cyprus); Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (Czech Republic); Communist Party in Denmark; Communist Party of Egypt ; Communist Party of Finland; Communist Party of France; German Communist Party (DKP); Communist Party of Greece; Communist Party of Guadeloupe; Hungarian Communist Workers Party; Communist Party of India; Communist Party of India (Marxist); Communist Party of Israel; Tudeh Party of Iran; Communist Party of Iraq; Communist Party of Ireland; . Workers Party of Ireland; Communist Refoundation Party of Italy; Party of Italian Communists (Italy); Communist Party of Jordan; Socialist Party of Latvia; Communist Party of Lebanon; . Socialist People’s Front (Lithuania); Communist Party of Luxemburg (KPL); Communist Party of Malta; Communist Party of Martiniquais; Communist Party of Mexico; Party of Progress and Socialism (Morocco); Democratic Socialist Vanguard Party (Morocco); Communist Party of Norway; People’s Party of Palestine; Communist Party of Pakistan; Communist Party of Peru; Communist Party of Poland; Communist Party of Portugal; Communist Party of People’s of Spain; Communist Party of Sweden; Communist Party of Sudan; Communist Party of Russian Federation; Party of Independence and Labour of Senegal; Communist Party of Spain; Communist Party of South Africa; Communist Party of Reunionese; Communist Party of Turkey; Movement Ettajdid (Tunisia); Worker Party of Tunisia; Communist Party of USA; Communist Party of Uruguay; Polisario Front (Western Sahara).

Westnash, in seeking to undermine Israel, is in perfect harmony with self proclaimed Communists around the world!

Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, just sent a strong message to Israel telling Israel that it may not attack Iran without U. S. approval, regardless of Israel’s assessment of the threat against it of nuclear Jihad by Iran.

The daughter of Obama’s Secretary of State, John Kerry, married an “Iranian-American”. They visited with their extended Iranian family in Iran after the wedding.

Is there a “Conservative” in this blog who would make the argument that Westnash is NOT a Marxist when it comes to American foreign policy? If so, speak up and make your case.
If not, why are Conservatives in this blog not all over the Marxist troll who goes by the name of “Westnash”?

  9. Westnash says:

Flake is trying to pull a McCain. I think in his case it wont work as he doesnt have the stature to get by with it. They both need to hear from Arizonan’s that their views are not ours.

    • eubykdisop says:

But the views of Flake and McCain ARE yours, Westnash!

One thing which unites Flake and McCain is their support for “comprehensive immigration reform”. What are your stated positions with regards to immigration, Westnash?

First, just like Obama and Janet Napolitano, you don’t want to secure our borders and even speak disparagingly of “the
      Secure Our Borders bunch”.

      “Westnash says:
      February 18, 2013 at 3:35 pm
What I worry that the Secure Our Borders bunch really wants is to spend Billions more in hiring and fences which do nothing but increase the size of Govt.”

Next, like all Liberal Democrats, you just can’t resist attacking Sheriff Joe Arpaio!

      “Westnash says:
      March 1, 2013 at 9:06 am
Interesting that when you have someone like Joe who continues to hang on…you have a real vacuum behind them. Their ego just wont let them develop a successor. Joe should retire soon and develop a strong successor…but I am afraid hubris has set in long ago.”

And in perfect harmony with the Reconquista agenda, Westnash would REQUIRE that Arizona taxpayer money be spent teaching each and every student in the state of Arizona to… speak SPANISH!

      “Westnash says:
      March 12, 2013 at 8:36 am
I would be in favor of Arizona requiring Spanish (for legal students of course).”

So while Westnash feigns being opposed to McCain and Flake, he actually supports the “open borders”, Reconquista agenda.

Is there any “Conservative” in this blog who would like to make the case that Westnash is anything other than a Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll who supports the immigration policies of McCain, Flake and Obama? If so, speak up and make your case. If not, then why are you not all over this Liberal Obama Trojan horse troll?

      • Sgt. Preston says:

II don’t have to agree with every comment on this or any other blog. I don’t always agree with my dear and very intelligent wife. But we get along nonetheless and have children to prove it!! Factor in that she doesn’t always agree with me, either.
The point is to make your case as persuasively as possible, but if it doesn’t persuade, then move on. Taunting and reviling never wins anyone to our side. Count me among the ones who votes against the long lists of enumerated transgressions. We can all read and make up our own minds, eubykdisop.

And please refrain from collecting every comment I have ever made on these pages and annoyingly posting a litany of them.

      • eubykdisop says:

        My Dear Sgt. Preston:

First, I have no interest in your martial relationship or the offspring which you have sired.

Secondly, you misunderstand. My primary objective is not to persuade but rather to expose.

Next, there is no “taunting and reviling” as you so conveniently choose to characterize it. There is a presentation of facts.

Furthermore, I’m happy for you that you can read and I’m not counting “votes”. So you might consider “moving on” with that as well.

Lastly, rest assured that I would never collect every comment you have ever made. There just isn’t that much of substance there.

Now you and your fellows in the Yukon have a nice day, Sgt. Preston! :-)

      • eubykdisop says:

Here ‘ya go, Sgt. Preston. Educate yourself!

“Breitbart Reflects on Obama’s Left-Wing Internet “Trolls””

        “By Matthew Vadum”

“Conservative strategic visionary Andrew Breitbart hits the target again.”

“In his Washington Times op-ed today the Internet news entrepreneur warns of the apparently coordinated proliferation of left-wing, pro-Obama Internet trolls out to stifle dissent and demoralize conservatives:”

“A digital war has broken out, and the conservative movement is losing. Read the comment sections of right-leaning blogs, news sites and social forums, and the evidence is there in ugly abundance. Internet hooligans are spewing their talking points to thwart the dissent of the newly-out-of-power.”

“We must not let that go unanswered.”

“Uninvited Democratic activists are on a mission to demoralize the enemy – us. They want to ensure that President Obama is not subject to the same coordinated, facts-be-damned, multimedia takedown they employed over eight long years to destroy the presidency – and the humanity – of George W. Bush.”

“Political leftists play for keeps. They are willing to lie, perform deceptive acts in a coordinated fashion and do so in a wicked way – all in the pursuit of victory. Moral relativism is alive and well in the land of Hope and Change and its Web-savvy youth brigade expresses its “idealism” in a most cynical fashion.”

“The ends justify the means for them – now more than ever.”

“Much of Mr. Obama’s vaunted online strategy involved utilizing “Internet trolls” to invade enemy lines under false names and trying to derail discussion. In the real world, that’s called “vandalism.” But in a political movement that embraces “graffiti” as avant-garde art , that’s business as usual. It relishes the ability to destroy other people’s property in pursuit of electoral victory.”

Off topic but on point, this editorial from the Prescott Daily Courier:

    http://www.prescottaz.com/main.asp?SectionID=36&SubSectionID=1119&ArticleID=118655

    • eubykdisop says:

I’ve tried to follow that situation in the news, Doc, and I can’t discern who are the “good guys” and who are the “bad guys”, if, indeed, such a distinction can be made!

We need to look at things from the perspective of our own national interests but unless McCain knows something which the rest of us do not, I don’t see a compelling case there for our intervention based upon our national interests.

  11. Philip Alu says:

If you ever liked Jeff you must be his father or mother.

  12. westnash says:

Sgt Preston you are right as well. Every vote, including the site owners, is against the foolishness of cut n paste enumerations of the doctrine of Euby.

    • eubykdisop says:

What? You vote for MORE copy and paste, Westnash? Happy to oblige!

      “Westnash says:
      February 1, 2013 at 3:29 am
Arizona looks like fools in this new round of publicity about saying they will not enforce the laws on gun control. By the time there are laws they will be watered down and probably something people can live with.”

Well look at that! MORE gun control propaganda form Westnash, LOL!

Now you, Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly have a nice gun control day, Westy! :-)

  13. eubykdisop says:

Oh yeah, Wetnash, you wrote this:

    “Westnash says:

Arizona looks like fools in this new round of publicity about saying they will not enforce the laws on gun control. By the time there are laws they will be watered down and probably something people can live with.”

Here’s the definition of the Obama internet troll strategy you used:

“Trolls use a wide variety of strategies, some of which are unique to the Internet, including these:”

“Exhibiting false moderation. By pretending to be the “voice of reason” in an argument with obvious well-defined sides, trolls attempt to move readers to relegate the argument to a “gray area,” such that holding or seriously considering the argument is a leap away from reasoned judgment.”

The gun control debate has well defined sides. In your above quoted comment you pose as the “voice of reason” to move readers into the “gray area” that gun control laws will be “watered down” and end up being “PROBABLY something people can live with”.

See, Westy, you’re not unique or original. You just use standard Obama internet troll strategies, LOL!

Have a nice Obama troll night, Westy! :-)

    • Westnash says:

Euby has been taken to the woodshed by SRAZ. The next step will be to take his bullet and then his Posse Crossing Guard ID and vest. Hopefully he will comply with the sanctions and change his behavior…but dont count on it. The Democrats and Joe McCarthy revisionists love you Euby! Seeing Blue Arizona is in your sights!

      • eubykdisop says:

ROFL! Yet MORE well known and documented Obama troll strategy, LOL!

“Decisive action against Obama’s left-wing ‘trolls'”

        “Jerome R. Corsi, 11/25/2012″

“Particularly offensive is the proclivity of trolls to use obscene or blasphemous language mixed with personal invective.”

        “Professional trolls”

“WND moderators have developed criteria for helping to identify a professional troll:”

“The person’s posts are consistently belittling, rather than intelligent objections and points.”

        http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/leftist-trolls-in-ongoing-war-with-wnd/

There we have it, Folks! “Personal invective”. “Belittling, rather than intelligent objections and points”. Those are the hallmarks of a PROFESSIONAL Obama troll!

See, Westy, you’re not unique or original! You just use standard Obama internet troll strategies, LOL!

Have a nice Obama troll day, Westy! :-)

  14. eubykdisop says:

ROFL! Hey, Westy, tell us why, WHY a “conservative” like you would make a statement like this?

    “Westnash says:
    January 15, 2013 at 11:47 am
Euby, this may come as a great shock to you but someone being a communist or socialist is not against the law.”

That is actually a Westnash Marxist lie! Under the Communist Control Act of 1954, it IS, in fact, against the law to be a Communist!

On top of that you are concerned about Marxism being “blamed”. BLAMED???

    “Westnash says:
    January 11, 2013 at 3:41 am
Obviously, Euby, it is easy for you to blame Marxism, but impossible to offer a solution for the Arizona Republicans.”

Your Pink is showing, Westy! ;-)

  15. Saguaro Sam says:

Imagine how Jeff Flake must feel when his ego sees Marco Rubio standing proudly between John McAmnesty and Chucky Cheese Schumer on the cover of the National Review.

Note to the Flakester: Your lilly-white six pack abs cannot hold a candle to the pearly-white toothy grin of a guy with an ethnic last name.

  16. Westnash says:

Euby spits out oodles of cut n paste that no one reads or cares to read. He cant concentrate on the thread at hand but concentrates on posters who have their own opinions. Poor Euby!

    • eubykdisop says:

Oh, you have your own opinions alright, Westnash. Like this one…

      “Westnash says:
      January 15, 2013 at 11:47 am
Euby, this may come as a great shock to you but someone being a communist or socialist is not against the law.”

However, your “opinion” constitutes a flat out Marxist lie which you are attempting to foist upon SRAZ readers! Under the Communist Control Act of 1954, it IS, in fact against the law to be a Communist!

Now why don’t you stop spreading Marxist LIES in this Conservative blog, Westnash!

  17. eubykdisop says:

Hey, Westnash, here are a couple of reviews from your “fans”!

    “AnObservation says:
    January 30, 2013 at 6:27 am”
Westnash you have continually shown that you are here for one reason and one reason only: to stir the pot and divide constitutional conservatives.”

    Here’s another one!

    “Arizona Conservative Guy says:
    January 23, 2013 at 8:54 am
    Westnash:
You have outed yourself as a liberal fool.”

“I have read SOME of your comments (more than a few would be intolerable) and it’s clear to me that you discharge your opinion on topics without actually reading the posts you are commenting on. You appear to be so egocentric that you think your disconnected view is paramount. Why do you come to this site? Your disparagement of conservative perspectives is very revealing.”

My goodness, “a liberal fool”! “Disparagement of conservative perspectives”!

In answer to your question, “Arizona Conservative Guy”, the reason why Westnash comes to this site is to spread Marxist lies like this one:

    “Westnash says:
    January 15, 2013 at 11:47 am
Euby, this may come as a great shock to you but someone being a communist or socialist is not against the law.”

That is a flat out Marxist lie! Under the Communist Control Act of 1954, it IS, in fact against the law to be a Communist!

Go spread your Marxist lies over at Daily Kos, Westnash!
