Good information here. Thanks. As far as raising these issues at town halls with the elected reps, that was a joke, right? They will have all of the talking points down to a science IF they meet with us during this much too long summer break. Most will be onboard with their donors / lobbyists to shove this through. The business entities want the cheap labor and they hold the pursestrings for those running for re-election. You and I don’t count. Neither do our kids and the generations of legit Americans going forward.
Say goodby to the Republican party. The illegals magically turned into American citizen voters will be in the bag with the Democrats. Juan McAmnesty was their biggest supporter and they dropped him (white) in favor of Obama (non white). That might not sound politically correct, but it is factual. Amnesty was a mistake the first time around and will be even worse now. I will resign as a PC and leave the Republican Party. Many of my fellow PCs will do the same.

You speak for me as well. I will take a hike from the party I first proudly registered with at age 18. We can’t buy our friends. People either believe in the principles of the U.S. Constitution and the GOP platform or they don’t. Free cell phones and taxpayer funded benefits don’t take the place of individual responsibility and getting an education to make your way in this land of opportunity.

“RNC to House: Pass Immigration Reforms to Help U.S. Employers”

“by Matthew Boyle, 17 Aug 2013″

“In an apparent nod to the donor class, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has called on lawmakers in the House of Representatives to pass an immigration bill aimed at helping companies that say they need immigrant workers.”

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/08/16/RNC-Goes-Further-Than-Senate-Bill-in-Call-for-Immigration-Legislation-Focused-on-Employers-Needs

Of course, the RNC and the rest of the Republican “establishment” have abandoned America and Americans in favor of “One World” and the “New World Order”. That, however, is no reason for us to abandon hope. Why not?

Even a cursory study of history reveals that while evil may temporarily gain the upper hand that it cannot permanently endure. Why not? Good is inherently stronger than evil!

So while we may objectively assess the current situation, let us nevertheless press on with certainty in our hearts that we will ultimately prevail BECAUSE we are on the side of right and good!

“But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26

It is not that God is on our side. It is that we are on God’s side!

In reading the linked article, the first “very disturbing fact” listed is this:

“#1 57 percent of all households that are led by an immigrant (legal or illegal) are enrolled in at least one welfare program.”

There is a link from this first “very disturbing fact” to the source article from which it came. In that article I found this:

“The states where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona (62 percent); Texas, California, and New York (61 percent); Pennsylvania (59 percent); Minnesota and Oregon (56 percent); and Colorado (55 percent).”

    http://cis.org/immigrant-welfare-use-2011

It puts a whole new slant on Brewer’s Medicaid expansion when we realize that Arizona has a higher welfare use rate for immigrant households with children than even California and New York, coming in #1 in that welfare category!
