Travesty in Tucson

Marxist agenda permeates Tucson Unified School District

Expanding Marxism is actually the title of today’s single and lengthy editorial in the Arizona Republic. This is the second time in a week we give the newspaper high marks for taking the high road. Will wonders never cease?

They write: The controversial La Raza ethnics-studies program in the Tucson Unified School District has been getting some much-needed scrutiny lately. The paper even goes so far as to acknowledge that “Conservative talk-radio and columnists have fulminated about it.”

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne has broached a wall of silence, supported at one time by much of the Tucson media, about the program’s content.

Indeed we have. This is race-baiting of the worst kind, infecting the minds of young Hispanic students being taught in American schools.

Read this editorial and see what is actually going on with Arizonans tax dollars.

Syndicated columnist and blogger, Michelle Malkin has given extensive coverage to this contemptuous travesty masquerading as education taking place in Tucson.

And while you’re eyes are burning from reading this, see what else Malkin has written concerning John McCain and his overtures to this racist and anti-American group. He is scheduled to address them in July.

  1. Joe Evans says:

Tom Horne needs to put a stop to this–yesterday! And why is Janet Napolitano so silent? If race hatred and supremacy was being taught in the public schools by the KKK, it would be halted in a hot minute. This is no different.

  2. Vince says:

This is shameful. Not only should the program be discontinued, but the administrators who allowed it and the teachers feeding this garbage to youngsters should all be fired.

  3. Maggie says:

Check out the McCain links on the Malkin site. What a mess we have on our hands. McCain is actually chumming with La Raza. He’s probably hoping the illegals will get to the polls and thank him for his amnesty plan.

  4. RA says:

You’re right Joe and Vince – but Tom isn’t all that welcome over there. If memory serves, wasn’t he refused a review of the related curricular materials several months back? Think Janet is keeping mum because she doesn’t see any percentage in saying or doing anything about this.
