In case you ever had any doubts about media bias…..

The facts are indisputable

Daily newspaper endorsements reflecting nationwide publications show overwhelming editorial support for the Obama-Biden ticket.  By a wide margin of 3 – 1, or 105 to 33, the Democrat ticket is winning the approval of the country’s press.

A staggering 50 or more papers in the past day came onboard the Obama Steamroller.

The ink-laden bombshell was that two solid Bush papers in 2004, the Houston Chronicle and Austin American-Statesman, also came out for Obama Sunday.

The slathering of blather has reached fever pitch as you will see when reading the paeans to Obama in the link above.

Editor & Publisher, the newspaper trade publication, reports that Obama’s lopsided margin, which includes most of the major papers that have decided so far, is in stark contrast to John Kerry barely edging George W. Bush in endorsements in 2004 by 213 to 205.

The complete state-by-state tally of newspapers is here.

Lest you still have any doubts, read this from the pages of the Houston Chronicle:  Perhaps the worst mistake McCain made in his campaign for the White House was the choice of the inexperienced and inflammatory Palin as his vice-presidential running mate. Had he selected a moderate, experienced Republican lawmaker such as Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison with a strong appeal to independents, the Chronicle’s choice for an endorsement would have been far more difficult.

Expect to see the Arizona Republic join in the frenzy any day now.

This should not be a surprise to anyone with a brain. It is also why the newspapers across the country are closing their doors completely or cutting back. The Republic is a mere shadow of its former self and has suffered through functioning on a skeletal staff due to layoffs and buyouts. The East Valley Trib now publishes 4 days a week. These are the last blusters of a dying industry.

In a recent poll taken of journalists, 4 times more identified themselves as “liberal” rather than “conservative.” That explains thephenomena. outlined in the post. Reporters are no longer content to merely report the news, but want to shape public opinion and polciy, fundamentally changing the direction of thought in this nation. They accomplish this incrementally and the public, for the most part, is blissfully unaware. This is the case on the major networks and in ALL manner of print media.

This is no longer political. The newspapers are experiencing a mass orgasm. I’ve never seen anything even close to the current lunacy, and I’ve been around awhile.

It will be fun to watch them line up to eviscerate Obama and Biden once the hoopla dies down, the koolaid is all consumed and the populace turns on these two. Even Biden is now stating that B.O. will be “tested” within his first 6 months in office. Just what we need- a president with training wheels in a time of crisis.

Doubts? Who had doubts? Turn on the television networks or open any newspaper and your “doubts” will fly out the window.
