Don Meyers Named MCRC Legal Counsel

Maricopa County Republican Chairman Rob Haney has appointed Don Meyers as the Legal Counsel to the Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC).

Meyers has a BS from North Dakota State University and a JD from the University of Michigan. He completed post graduate research in international and comparative law at Cambridge University.

Meyers has served the community in many professional and business capacities and was one of the seven founders of the Fiesta Bowl. His local civic involvement runs deep. A former 1st Lieutenant in the US Air Force, Meyers has served on the board of directors of numerous insurance and banking corporations.

Meyers is active in Republican politics and is a past GOP finance chairman for the State Party. Additionally, he was member of the Executive Committee of the Governor’s Regional Airport Advisory Committee for the State of Arizona and in May 1995, the President of the Arizona Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, selected Mr. Meyers as one of the four community leaders to serve on a joint select committee on the establishment of a regional Airport for Arizona

The Maricopa County Republican Committee is fortunate to have this Valley leader onboard.
