“These jobs should not go to white male construction workers.”

Robert Reich is an economic advisor to President Barack Obama. This shocking video is from a recent economic planning meeting.

The so-called stimulus bill currently being considered by the US Senate contains about $104 billion in new government funding for construction projects with the goal of creating jobs for millions of unemployed Americans. Unlike the House version, there is no provision in the bill to bar illegal immigrants from getting these taxpayer-funded jobs. This could result in several hundred thousand illegal immigrants receiving jobs that should rightfully go to American citizens according to a report by the Center for Immigration Studies.

  1. Doug Johnson says:

Can anyone imagine the uproar if the words “white, male construction workers” were substituted with “black or Hispanic, male construction workers?”

The furor would be unstoppable. Why is bigotry against whites and males condoned? Isn’t that what Robert Reich is?

  2. RA says:

Perhaps Robert Reich should publicly explain in detail just what exactly is wrong with “white male construction workers.”

  3. Vince says:

What’s wrong with “white male construction workers” is the democrat party gets no traction from them. They’re probably grouped as “rednecks with gun racks in the back of their pickup trucks” at staff meetings. All they’re good for is paying out taxes. Of course that will come to an abrupt end when the illegals displace them.

  4. Jason says:

On his (still accessible) campaign website when he was running for governor of Massachusetts, it says “Robert Reich has spent his life fighting for working people and their families.”

Apparently he doesn’t consider white male construction workers and their families in the mix to be worth fighting for.

  5. Maggie says:

This is shameful! How do the Democrats get away with such outrageous talk? Too bad they weren’t this upfront before the election.

  6. Sam says:

It’s actually racist! Why doesn’t this fall under the favorite liberal banner of “Hate Speech?”

  7. SherriAZ says:

The bigger questions is what are white Americans going to DO about this? Are we going to continue to roll over for the Diversity crowd? At what point is the “payback” for past discrimination enough? Are we now expected to go without jobs, lose our homes and become poorer than the uneducated illegals that swarm over our border? I’m all for giving the job to the best person, regardless of race, but I draw the line at rewarding illegals who helped cause the current mortgage mess that we are in. If there was ever a time to burn up the phone lines and send millions of emails to Washington, this is it.

  8. Flying V says:

You get it, Sherri! I was livid watching this. Also very ticked at the post regarding McCain and Kyl’s vote on confirming Eric Holder, who has every intention of severely constricting our Second Amendment rights.

We’re screwed — not just by the Democrats, but by our own colluding GOP senators.

  9. Night Owl says:

That Reich feels free to say these things without any fear of retribution tells us exactly what this administration and the Democrat party is all about.
Notice he didn’t say anything negative about Obama’s administration not hiring midgets? Reich stands only 4’ 10 ½ inches, so he would be out of a job!

  10. Steve says:

No wonder the Democrats are in control of the House, the Senate and the White House. They are such swell people. I hope this video clip is seen by every white American who is out of work. Especially the fools who vote Democrat.
