Although she left Arizona, Janet Napolitano is feeling the heat

Homeland Security chieftain Janet Napolitano has a new website devoted entirely to her. But it is anything but a fan club.

Clearly, the momentum against her is building.

Syndicated radio talk show host and former Mayor of San Diego, Roger Hedgecock, uses his microphone to describe Napolitano as “very dangerous,” and has also written about Napolitano in his excellent assessment on WorldNetDaily.

When interviewed on CNN’s John King show, discussing illegal border crossers entering the United States at an alarming rate, the former Arizona Attorney General — who should know better — stunned many listeners when actually misstating the law by saying, “…crossing the border is not a crime per se.”  The transcript is available here.

As a lawyer, Janet Napolitano is well aware that illegal immigration is a crime. But as a sycophantic political hack, she and her boss Barack Obama have no desire to enforce the law so they simply pretend it doesn’t exist. They know that normalizing illegals by granting them amnesty swells the ranks of the Democrat Party with grateful new voters.

American citizens are not treated as kindly. Seeing Red AZ recently reported on her frontal assault on returning American combat veterans, supporters of the Second Amendment and those who value human life. But her spew doesn’t stop there. She has now unleashed on Canada, blaming the nation to our north for the September 11, terrorist attacks. Canadians were not amused and editorially questioned her qualifications for the post of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

It’s a position that is difficult to quarrel with.

Let’s hope that this civil servant abomination is shown the door shortly. She is a miserable excuse as a public servant who’s taken an oath to uphold the law. She is a disgrace.

  2. Ajo Joe says:

She is becoming far more than simply an embarrassment to Arizona. Now she’s embarrassing the entire country. Once BHO gets a bit of her reflected tarnish, I wager he’ll drop her like a hot rock.

  3. Joe Evans says:

What’s that about the Peter Principle and rising to the level of one’s own incompetence? The premise fits perfectly here.

  4. RA says:

Yep, Nappy’s got a full blown and possibly terminal case of flapping lips syndrome – which has now publicly revealed – twice in two weeks – just how incompetent she is.
How did someone who thinks that ‘a crime with civil penalties is not a crime’ EVER get to be Arizona AG? How does someone with this poor understanding of immigration law EVER get put in charge of defending the nation’s borders?

Janet Napolitano is always angling for something. Here she is appealing to the furthest left in the country. What do you think is next on her agenda? She was rumored to have been on the short list for VP. I think she’d like the top job. She is probably laying the groundwork for her own grab at the brass ring.

This doesn’t surprise me a bit! She left our state in shambles …….. she inherited the governorship in the black and left it in dire straits! What a joke that B.O. chose her!! She couldn’t control the AZ – Mexico border…….and now she’s in charge of the whole of the U.S. borders?? And our country’s national security? She is a bull in a china shop…. in more ways than one! I hope she gets fired……but I just wish that B.O. would go down with her…..just the fact that he appointed her shows his intellect…..he is nothing but a community organizer…..and he has no idea what he’s doing……in way over his head……as is Nappy! Pretty scary…….apologies to the Canadians….how embarrassing! How extremely embarrassing!!

  7. Jim Osborn says:

There’s not a word you said that I disagree with, CH. She is rightly called a political hack in this post. The only problem is we are living in dangerous times and she has nothing to recommend her for this job. Being an early supporter of Obama is not enough!

  8. SherriAZ says:

Past time to force the issues- we need to make our voices heard on removing her from office. The end of her political career should be a priority. Her lack of concern for our nation’s sovereignty and her disdain for anyone disagreeing with B.O.’s agenda has earned her the door- without the lovely parting gifts.

Immediately following napolitano’s outrageous statements, I started a petition demanding the immediate removal of napolitano from office. If you agree and support the now growing demands for her removal, please go here to sign the petition. > http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/napolitano-must-go/

    Good luck, Doc’.

  11. […] we’ve written, Janet Napolitano is taking a lot of heat from critics these days. But she can count on loyal support from Sen. John McCain, whom Napolitano […]

  12. Jim Gerace says:

    Your neighbors elected her–twice!
    That is Arizona’s real embarrassment.

If she is removed I am sure BHO can find something just as pathetic.
