Russian reaction to America’s descent into Marxism under Obama

In an article titled. American capitalism gone with a whimper, Mat Rodina an editorial columnist for Russia’s Pravda, writes about the collapse of American capitalism and the leftist zeal to surrender our liberties.

He correctly addresses some of the under-girding that enabled the liberals to gain control of our “sheeple,” with these observations:  First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, he writes, as….top Protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls [for] flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse, Rodina continues, has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

Rodina concludes his article with this mocking warning: The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left. The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Seeing Red AZ encourages our readers to take a few minutes and read this account of America’s willing descent into the damning Marxist governmental scheme Russians know well enough to distrust.

  1. John Williams says:

The Russians have lived the nightmare of Marxism. They must be appalled by the easy acceptance of those very disasterous principles by the American Left today.

  2. Villanova says:

I just read the editorial in Pravda and sent the link to this Seeing Red AZ post to most of my email list. (There are a couple of liberals in the family who are beyond help, so there is no point in including them.)

This is a must read for anyone who still possesses a semblance of reason and intelligence.

    Thank you for this.

  3. SherriAZ says:

Unfortunately, Americans who still care and are trying to fight for liberty and freedoms are being overrun by liberals who voted for B.O. based upon white guilt, black payback, hatred for Bush and the war in Iraq, anger at not getting amnesty and open borders, the desire for a government nanny, stupidity or one of several other reasons all of which meant that they TOTALLY ignored the information that was presented to them about his true agenda.

Barack Obama will go down in the history books as the worst president- and that’s saying something when we had Carter- that the United States ever elected. As the first black President, he is setting the black struggle back at least 100 years.

  4. Night Owl says:

The problem is, the “sheeple” as the Russian author so appropriately calls us, don’t seem to have a clue. Which takes us back again to his well made point about dumbed down Americans. The government schools are doing the job they set out to do. And back here in Arizona, Penny Kotterman, the longtime head of the AEA, is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction!!! Frightening indeed. Of course, she’s on the Democrat ticket. Where else would you expect to see a career educator?

  5. Night Owl says:

BTW, I forgot to mention Margaret Dugan, who is the Republican to watch (and support!) in this race. She’s the excellent exception to the unfortunate “educator rule.” Her conservative credentials are impeccable.

  6. Gary says:

The Russian’s editorial assessment is, unfortunately, accurate.

  7. RA says:

Who would have guessed that in 2009 we’d have to go to Pravda for the truth?

Says a lot about this country, its institutions, its newspapers, and its people.
