J.D. Hayworth: Now it begins

Revving up for his formal announcement, J.D. Hayworth has launched a statewide volley of pre-recorded calls. Judging from remarks by those who have received his message, they are hitting the intended mark with accuracy.

Rather than lobbing salvos of distortions as  the desperate McCampaign has hurled at Hayworth, his message is fact-based. Pledging to be a “consistent, faithful conservative,” his words resonate with the Republican base and those who are tired of the “Mavericky” leftward lurching.

This is his message:

“Hi, this is JD Hayworth calling. If you share my opinion that John McCain has admirably served our country but that 28 years in Washington is just too long, then I want you to know that I will soon be announcing my
candidacy for the United States Senate. Arizona’s Republicans deserve a choice and an alternative to Senator McCain’s moderate record on taxes, social issues, the border, and bailing out the banks. I will be a consistent, faithful conservative that you can rely on to put Arizona first. This is going to be a great debate, and I need you. Please get involved by going to JD2010.com (disclaimer).”

Finally. The time for grousing is over. Now we have work to do.

JD, it’s been a long time waiting for you to return to the political arena.

This country needs your dedication, your integrity, and your spirit now, more than ever. Thank you for your commitment. There are many, including myself who will support your efforts in whatever way we can.

John McCain, it’s time for you to leave public service, come home and retire to the life of a private citizen.

Sovereign speaks for many of us. It’s long past time for old Juan McAmnesty to hang it up. We are so tired of him and his so-called “Bi-partisanship.” He’s a liberal and always has been. Having J.D. Hayworth back representing us would be a Godsend. Let’s make sure it happens! We can’t sit back and say it’s good. We need to help him. He’s putting himself out there and taking a bruising from the newspaper and Team McCain. If we are glad he’s sticking his neck out, we need to get his petitions signed and help him raise campaign cash to get his message out. McCain has nearly $30 million dollars!

It’s really sad that our senior senator, with YEARS of service to his/our country, & Sacrifice for America from a prison in Viet-Nam, doesn’t have the good sense, & decency to step down now…OR…

A co-worker last night,(37 years in emergency nursing) hypothesized that perhaps he’s “gone off th’ deep end”, so to speak. My mom is an Alzheimer’s victim, & dementia before that, where she was occasionally “MEAN” without provocation…sound familiar? I’m not saying that’s the case here, & I certainly wouldn’t wish that on ANYBODY, but the more I think about it, the symptoms/actions of Mr. McCain sure do remind me of the way things slowly but surely went south for my mom. Sorta’ like a slow movin’ train…headed for a washed out bridge…& th’ engineer jumped off miles back…

Already sent in my contribution and will be looking for other opportunities to support JD!

Maybe it is time to pipe the old sailor over the side and send him to shore to be with family.

The trick is knowing when to go home.

  7. TeaPartyPatriot says:

I’ve send JD my first contribution. To get his message out over the millions that AMNESTY-JOHN will throw around, JD needs all the help (financial and otherwise) he can get.

  8. DeAnn says:

I saw on Gila Courier that J.D. will be the featured speaker at the Lake Havasu Lincoln Day Dinner on February 20th.
