Obama’s ice cream lies and Cafferty’s truths

It shouldn’t be too much to expect this Harvard educated lawyer to read the law he‘s distorting for his hand-picked crowd of admirers. He obviously hasn’t. Otherwise he would know that the Hispanic Dad he described as walking into the ice cream shop with his child, would only be subject to questioning about his status, if he was apprehended for holding up the store.

Here is Obama’s exact quote:

“You can imagine if you are an Hispanic American in Arizona, your great grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state, but now suddenly if you don’t have your papers, and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re gonna be harassed,” Obama said. “That’s something that could potentially happen. That’s not the right way to go.”

In fact, the Arizona law mirrors federal law. Deception on this issue won’t play well in our border state, Mr. Obama.

Here’s CNN’s Jack Cafferty giving the real story:

Lies, Lies, Lies – Nothing new Obama’s lips are moving. To bad so many fell for the lies during last election year – hopefully their eyes & hears are open now!

  2. Sgt. Preston says:

We can only hope for that change, Kathy! Obama was elected in part because Republicans had such a miserable and weak candidate in McCain. And, if our schools taught American students our nation’s exceptionalism and history (minus the liberal slant) the under 30 crowd would not have been held captive by this Marxist slickster. I fear we have only ourselves to blame.

  3. Doug says:

Why is it that the press calls it “Arizona Immegration Law”…It deals with “Illegals”!!
What part of ILLEGAL…do they not get? Read Mexico’s
laws on Immegration…very clear..If your there illegally…you go to prison. If you are there. and can bring a positive impact to their economy..you can stay…Nothing is free!

  4. Stanford says:

Doc: The press acts as it does because it has a mission to spread liberalism. Just read the AZ Republic and that comes through loud and clear. Their days are numbered, which (as much as despise their agenda) I regret. An unfettered press is not only necessary, but desired. However, this one is so fettered as to have lost its way. The harm they could do if still well read would be incalculable.

Keep up your good work here, Doc. Conservative thought overshadows the left’s agenda.

    Kathy:
You got it right when you wrote Obama’s lips are moving. That’s a sure sign the guy is lying! I think he’s pathological.

And kudos to Seeing Red AZ!This is an excellent post.

  6. Flying V says:

Typical Obama. He calls our law “bad” while referring to the illegal aliens flooding our country, as our “undocumented friends.” I hope the voters wise up next time around.

I live in Arizona. The crime rate in my state has become astronomical the last attack on law enforcement happened not far from the city limits of Phoenix. For the President of America or any government official to publicly speak out against citizens protecting their state against armed intruders is obscene. His Ice cream analogy of our bill 1070 is as ridiculous as it is ignorant. Our President seems to be of the opinion its OK to demonstrate in our streets carrying Mexican flags and threatening Americans with shovels and axes. I seriously question his intentions for America and its citizens. When our country is being invaded by Armed forces that commit Murder, rape, Home invasions, and has a total lack of respect for our laws and openly threatens citizens with harm. I consider this and act of war yet Obama chooses to look the other way and call us misguided. It is a sad day for Americans when our Government chooses the Hispanic vote over the rights and protection of it’s citizens.
