Media bias exposed as SB 1070 routinely maligned

Third Reich lingo gets a workout from liberal media

Media Research Center’s bias alert confirms the liberal predisposition of the mainstream media in describing Arizona’s SB 1070.  In the most derogatory of jargon — using Nazi terminology to portray the law actually titled: “Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act,” NBC Justice Correspondent Pete Williams repeatedly referred to the law as “Arizona’s Nazi Law,” “Round up the usual suspects law” or the “Show us your papers law.”

The Arizona Republic has yet to write about the popular and much imitated Senate Bill, signed into law by then-Gov. Napolitano, without using the word “controversial” before the title.

It’s worth remembering that liberals often suffer from limited cognitive and analytical abilities, giving way to mischaracterizations and repetition as their primary means for conveyance of ideas.

Great diagnosis of the liberal mind! It makes me proud that my legacy lives on!

  2. MacBeth says:

Imagine if this was done in reverse. If conservatives called liberals Nazis, all hell would break loose. The double standard is mind boggling.

  3. Seen It All says:

I have often pointed out the misuse of the word “controversial” (in this context) to my wife. That word ALWAYS precedes anything written about SB1070. The fact that numerous states are following Arizona’s lead doesn’t matter to the people (who could call them “journalists”?) at the Republic. They have to pursue this to the bitter end, which I hope comes soon and will put that newspaper out of its misery.

When they can’t debate the issue on its merits then this is what they resort to.
It only goes to undercut any credibility that they have left–which is very little.

There was, actually, a liberal fervor when a picture of Obama as Hitler surfaced. Of course, that is correct. We could equate him more to Idi Amin. The media went mean mad over that and the pictures of Obama as the Joker and a vampire sucking liberty. It was funny, though, when Joker and vampire pictures of Bush were used previously.

I thought ‘illegal’ actually meant “against th’ law”…sorry
