Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government website features an in-depth report on Arizona’s short time, first-term state Senator Kyrsten Sinema. The liberal Democrat’s ties to the Communist Party are revealed by researcher and blogger Trevor Loudon.
A committed pro-abortion and open-borders advocate, Sinema resigned her state senate post on January 3, simultaneously announcing her intention to run for the U.S. House of Representatives from the newly created 9th Congressional District
Just after her first election as a state Representative, Sinema worked on forming Arizona Together aimed at defeating Arizona’s same-sex marriage ban. Sinema, a self-described “bi-sexual” was also a founder of the AZ House Progressive Caucus. A social worker and lawyer, her first term in the state house began in 2005.
In 2008, she chaired Protect Arizona’s Freedom, a coalition aimed at halting Ward Connerly’s ballot initiative which opposed race and gender based preferences in education, hiring and allocating government contracts. She is known as a close friend of her mirror-image liberal: Janet Napolitano.
Sinema lost her initial legislative race as a Green Party candidate, later re-creating herself as a Democrat.
Back in 2007, while a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, Kyrsten Sinema was one of eight Democrats who introduced HB 2286, a nifty little bill relating to organized crime and fraud, that imposed a mandatory minimum jail sentence of six months for members of the civilian Minutemen trying to get a neglectful U.S. government to simply enforce existing immigration laws by alerting authorities to the flow of illegal invaders crossing our southern border. She referred to these citizens as “domestic terrorists”:
An individual or group of individuals commits domestic terrorism if the individual or group of individuals are not affiliated with a local, state or federal law enforcement entity and associate with another individual or group of individuals as an organization, group, corporation or company for the purpose of patrolling to detect alleged illegal activity or to individually patrol for the purpose of detecting alleged illegal activity and if the individual or group of individuals is armed with a firearm or other weapon.
Imagine what she’d be working on if elected to the U.S. Congress.
