Romney was once again an arrogant jerk last night. His ego is so much bigger than his brain and just like O Bama he may beat Santorum due to arrogance. After his refusal to answer the last question in the debate, due to his self love, I would hope that true conservatives would choose either Newt or Rick. Watching Romney adore himself is not much different than watching O Bama. We don’t need a lying RINO to bring the Republican party down at election time as we so brutally got beat when McCain ran.

  2. Kathy says:

Anybody McCain endorses will NOT get my vote.

  3. Clementine says:

Count me among the women voting for Mitt Romney. Among many other factors, I’ve been turned off by Santorum’s claims that birth control ruins women and society. This is not abortion he’s talking about, but birth control!! And he acts as though married couples don’t have the ability to use it. Santorum should have joined the priesthood instead of running for president. God help us if he gets the GOP nomination. He’ll be squashed like a bug and America will never be the same after another term of the Marxist Obama.

  4. Observer says:

I’d be curious to know if Santorum’s continued smirks and talking over Romney during the debate made others as annoyed as it did me. I did have to laugh when the debate was over and Santorum was being interviewed with some of his kids standing around him. The one son wearing the dorky sweater vest looked like a clone of his father. Whoever advised Santorum to continually wear that getup made a calculated error.

  5. American Patriot says:

This video displays a “Gotcha!” moment if I ever saw one. I know this site is filled with a lot of commenters who are Santorum supporters. But there is no denying that last night Romney exposed him as a hypocrite, and did it very effectively. Best of all Santorum even nods in agreement with Romney!! We had some couples in to watch the debate and most were stunned at Santorum’s collapse when cornered. I’ve never understood why Romney didn’t call this slippery weasel out on his duplicity sooner.

  6. Claire Voyant says:

What’s Santorum scribbling? “Ouch!! He got me!”

  7. Sgt. Flapjaw says:

Santoum was the guy [due to the lack of other choices] that I was leaning towards at this time. After last night’s debate, “not me”. He looked and acted like a boy in the presents of men. Short of stature and now running a campaign in decline.

  8. JPD says:

Actually it WAS the defining moment, Romney got it wrong on why Obamacare needs to go; not that Trillion he doesn’t want to spend, or the 500 Billion taken from Medicare, or not wanting to replace that 500 Billion with taxes.

It’s unconstitutional – that should have been the first thing he said seeing he was lucid and on point.

  9. reader says:

It’s too bad the video was cut off right then or you would have seen the answer to why he endorsed Arlan Spector: Supreme Court appointees…..does that make it “right”? You decide – it’s all dirty business.

And Clementine, his point is that “birth control” now is viewed by many as “safe easy sex”….and the result is that 40% of children are now born out of wedlock into a single-parent home (60% among blacks) which leads to a HUGE problem for those kids and for the taxpayers who then provide entitlements…..

    • JPD says:

Yes it was cut off – his ststement that he spoke to Spector and got assurances that Spector would vote a certain way – one thing wrong – Spector flat denies speaking with Santorum on the subject, issue etc. In other words – the bases for Santorum’ endorsement is false on its face.

  10. Realist says:

OK you Romneyites – ENOUGH of your pathetic hyperbolie about the man who McShame, the Az, Republic, Paul Babaeu and the “establishment/media” want to run for President.

Santorum said he took one for the “team”. Would you rather he be a wannabe Dictator like Obama??? You can put Santorums conservative credientals up against any of the candidates running for President and he will be at the top.

Haven’t you noticed that if it looks like Willard “Mitt” Romney won’t be getting the nomination the establishment is already seeking out moderate replacements like Mitch Daniels???

LIKE ITor not, Santorum has the skills and youthful vigor to match BHO. BELIEVE ITor not, that is the person the uniformed voter will choose.

    • Overtaxed1 says:

Good comment Realist. The Romney cult does not care deeply enough about conservative values, they don’t even know what they are. They are panting after a very nasty man who swishes and sways with every wind that blows.

      • JPD says:

Add Romney was endorsed by Jeff Flake and that Wil Cardon and clan have been donating thousands to Romney and Flake for over a decade.
