Didn’t all but two Republicans vote for this abomination?

And I suppose you all know Fox News dumped Judge Napolitano after they got rid of Glenn Beck.

    • State Committeeman says:

      garvan,
I was unaware of both of those facts. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Fox News is billed by the left as a conservative network, and I’ll concede it’s the best we have. But Hannity, O’Reilly and Greta Van Sistern are all McCain addicts. And all of them think they are “fair and balanced” by continually ramming Alan Colmes, Bob Bechtel, Doug Shoen, Joe Trippi, Juan Williams and a host of liberal Democrat strategists down our throats each and every day. I’ve gotten disgusted with these insane efforts. The leftists MSM outlets rarely give conservatives airtime unless it’s to belittle them.

      • garvan says:

MSNBC recently dumped their token in-house conservative, Pat Buchanan.

Roger Ailes, the man who brought Rush Limbaugh out of obscurity in Sacramento and established him as a nationwide commentator, is the one who got rid of Beck and Napolitano.

He reportedly did so because the obama administration has threatened Fox News to tone down their conservative voices.

I haven’t heard what the threats were, but I can imagine their nature: look how Breitlbart’s successors have backed off from any further mention of the birth certificate measure.

    • Dennis O'Brien says:

There are many unanswered questions about what actually might have happened to Andrew Breitbart. For him to die at age 43 of “natural causes” raises more than just a few suspicions especially when he was preparing to drop a negative bombshell on Obama’s campaign.

    From inquisitr.com:
President Obama signed bill H.R. 347 (also known as the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011) into law on March 9th, The new law passed the House with a vote of 399-3.

    Representative Justin Amash, R-Michigan:
“ The bill expands current law to make it a crime to enter or remain in an area where an official is visiting even if the person does not know it’s illegal to be in that area and has no reason to suspect its illegal.”

Representative Tom Rooney’s (R-Fla. and the man responsible for introducing the bill to the House) had his communication director (Michael Mahaffey) address questions, He dismissed concerns that the bill violates civil liberties by saying, that the protests against H.R. 347 are, “a whole lot of kerfuffle over nothing. This (HR 347) doesn’t affect anyone’s right to protest anywhere at any time. Ever. ” He went on to say that, “… right now it’s not a federal violation to jump the fence and run across the White House lawn, this bill makes it a federal violation.”

Whatever happened to this: ““Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

    • garvan says:

A lot of “kerfuffle over nothing?” Rooney is a rotten, pig-hearted liar. But then again, he’s a politician, so nothing new here.

  3. Capt. Marvel says:

Our freedoms are being severely curtailed in secret and when we find out about the incursions into our liberty, it’s too late to act.

What ever possessed these so-call Representatives of the people, to allow such a denial of our Constitutionally granted freedoms? Safety is one thing. Restrictions are quite another.

  4. garvan says:

This most recent Republican-supported infringement on our civil rights is just one more validation of my decision to quit the Republicrat party in 1994.

    • SuzanneC says:

Oh Garvan what Party are you in now the Dimocrat? Please like you can make changes from the outside. Maybe we are all a little smarter than that. Or maybe you are an Independent, just who are you supporting, the two who are allowing McCain and Flake to be reelected?

      • garvan says:

I don’t belong to a party, but I always vote for conservative candidates.

Because there is no longer any such thing as a conservative Democrat politician, take a guess how I vote.

  5. SuzanneC says:

All I can say is we can protest in the voting booth. Let them think we are complacent, let them think they have all the support, remember we are the “SILENT MAJORITY” Of course “If, if is a skiff we can all go for a boat ride”, IF we get enough conservatives elected, real conservatives, we can rid the party of Boehner and his consessions to the dims we might get states rights back.

  6. Saguaro Sam says:

Keep on thinking that we are going to have an election in November. Or a fair one.

All signs indicate that we are in for the biggest fraud scheme of all time.

This, today, in Seoul, South Korea, caught on an open microphone (Guess obama doesn’t even care if the reporters hear this):

“President Dmitri Medvedev Monday, President Obama said that he would have “more flexibility” to deal with controversial issues such as missile defense, but incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to give him “space.”

    The exchange:

President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.

President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…

President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.

President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.. . .” (from Jake Tapper, ABC News)

And this: Even the Washington Post newspaper, in taking a poll of readers regarding Obamacare, is allegedly turning “No” votes into “Yes” votes.

Copy THAT, Sam! Here’s th’ link from foxnews.com:

      http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/03/26/obama-tells-medvedev-hell-have-more-flexibility-after-election-during-missile/

…at this time I would remind my fellow conservatives of a notion I’ve espoused here before…with some unpopularity:

      …RE-ELECT ABSO-FREAKIN’-LUTELY NOBODY!!!!!

3 (THREE) LEGISLATORS HAD THE SPINE & TESTICULAR FORTITUDE TO SAY NO TO THIS ABOMINATION! THREE! So, our legislators aren’t just sitting on their hands anymore…NOW They’re blatently stealing our FREEDOMS & LIBERTIES Right in front of us!!! The level of DISRESPECT shown US by Our EMPLOYEES is astounding to me…yet we continue to support these people…UNBELIEVABLE!

  7. Rick Popescu says:

Our Constitution means nothing?????? We need to remove from office so many that we put there. We The People have had enough…

  8. shelli says:

the constitution is being held hostage by a bunch of inept power hungry cretins who are only out for one thing, and one thing only… a way to protect THEIR interests… not the interests of the American people

  9. garvan says:

Anybody here read the Limbaugh Letter? In the current issue Rush points out that the biggest enemy of Tea Party conservatives is the Republican establishment.

It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall during dinner time at Jan Brewer’s house. What do you think her private sentiments about the Tea Party are?
