Tone-deaf Ninth Circus judges party like GSA

Black-robed royalty use taxpayer monies to bankroll lavish soiree

Although American taxpayers are not likely to forget the recently disclosed obscene excesses of the GSA‘s $823,000 Las Vegas conference, the judges of the liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals are not to be dissuaded from holding their own conference in Maui.

Check out the opulent digs of the “luxury” beachfront Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa. Rooms and other facilities can be seen here. Click these on. You might as well see what you’re paying for.

When the judges of the nation’s most overturned federal circuit court were called out on their extravagant junket by Republican Senators Chuck Grassley ((Iowa) and Jeff Sessions (Ala.), in this letter to Chief Judge Alex Kozinski, the following inane statement by the court’s “executive” was sent in response.

In 2010 the same court’s Maui conference cost taxpayers more than $1.1 million in travel and accommodation expenses for nearly 700 participants.

The list of the 29 active judges and the president who appointed them can be seen here. Sixty-four percent were appointed by Democrats Carter, Clinton and Obama. Their salaries are estimated to range from $164,000 to $223,500.

The court serves Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, as well as Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands

The Hill covers the outrageous action here.

The San Diego Union Tribune covered last year’s…conference at La Costa this way.

The 9th Circus Court of Appeals is a bunch of lunatic-left d-cRAT socialists (located in the heart of loonyville, San Francisco – crazy pelosi’s district) which displays its outrageous, extremist, anti-American, anti-Constitutional views in EVERY DECISION. In fact, it is nearly a full-time job for the US Supreme Court to overturn the despicable decisions of the lunatic-left 9th Circus Court and replace them with decisions that are based more on the US Constitution than on the perverse d-cRAT socialist ideology.

Here’s an idea for future implementation: disband the 9th Circus entirely and replace it with a court made up of people that understand and respect the US Constitution and American values and who will make decisions based on those and the American rule of law and not just leftist judicial activism.

The Constitution overrules the tea party, Mr. Patriot. I thought the Constitution is the basis for the tea party. Have you forgotten to read it? What we need are REPUBLICAN Presidents (not liberal Democrats) to make appointments to the federal bench. Our system is fine. The ones at the top are not. Disbanding the court and putting truck drivers and pastry chefs with no background and understanding of the law is surely not the answer.

  3. Sgt. Preston says:

This trip needs to be cancelled post haste!! They’ll lose their deposit and maybe some other fees, but that will be a whole lot cheaper than this massive and unnecessary poke in the eye to the taxpayers.

  4. Doc says:

…Sgt. Preston is 150% CORRECT ! For these people to follow throught with this “conference” is beyond disrespectful to AMERICAN TAXPAYERS ! Especially in light of our current sitting President’s penchant for lavish vacations & travel expendatures on OUR DIME ! THESE PEOPLE DECIDE LAW FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS ? They shouldn’t be allowed to decide the winner of a coffee tasting contest. Impeach every last one of ’em, FIRE their worthless, blood-suckin’ staff, & replace ’em all with well vetted people.

    • Doc says:

…sorry…well vetted people meaning people who are well versed in the LAW…and appointed by a Constitutionally knowledgable & Constitutional abiding President…

I felt that wasn’t clear in my last post…

Wait, consider this: The Hyatt Corp gave$187,000 dollars to campaigns with 80% of it going to dimocrats…….just one more way to “give back” to your contributors.
